Black and White Card

Happy Wednesday, Everyone!
This month I have a ton of birthdays to make cards for.  And I will be making another one soon.
Today, I made a black and white card for my dear friend of mine.
I have known her ever since I moved from Hawaii in 1997.
She is my dearest friend and I treasure her friendship.

Her birthday is this Saturday and I had to make her a card to celebrate her day.

Here is my card for her.  I just love this image I got from DigiStamp Boutique.
There are 5 other digi stamps that go with this one for an Awesome price.
Please check them out.

I used another 5x5 size card base.  Layered with white 110 lbs. cardstock from Recollections.  The pattern paper is from Ki Paper Pad (Hampton At) called Modern Elegance.  I think I got this pad from Walmart.  I added a paper doily.  I used a Stampin Up die called Deco Labels Framelits.  I then use some lace and roses from the package I got from Divine (yep, I'm still using stuff she sent me a year ago).  I used a gray satin ribbon from my stash for the bow.  Pearl swirls from Want 2 Scrap.  I don't think you can see but I also used Wink of Stella - silver and clear on the image hair, dress, shoes and on the die cut as well.  Lastly I colored the image with my copics.  ,

I hope she like this card I made for her.  The image is spot on image of her. LOL!!

Thanks everyone for stopping by today.  Please let me know what you all think.

Have a Fabulous Day!!

CCC #17 - Just Because

Hi Guys,
Every year summer comes and goes so fast that I'm always amazed.  This year is no different.  My kids are getting prepared for school, they are doing extremely well in swimming and Mommy will finally get a break.
The most exciting thing for me is that I hope to craft more.

Today, I'm here to share my card for Color Creative Challenge biweekly #17.
This week's color challenge is soft green, shabby pink, and creamy yellow
and add pearls.

Here is the inspiration photo:

Here is a wonderful sponsor:  Lacy Sunshine

I chose this image from their site.  Thank you for the image.

Now here is my card:

For this week's challenge, I made another 5x5 card.  I colored the image with my copics (I will have the list of copics down below for you). I added pearls to the image (flowers in her hair).  I used the Recollection 110 lb. white cardstock for the base.  Layered pattern paper from Garden Party by Pebbles.  I also layered a die cut from Sizzix called Ornate Plate.  I actually cut apart the die cut to tuck behind the pattern paper.  I also added a doily behind my image from my stash.  I added some Prima Flowers (Sugar Blooms) and Want 2 Scrap pearl swirl.  In addition, I added some soft green pearls from my friend Carole.  Stamped sentiment from my Studio G stamps in Pretty in Pink from Stampin Up.

Copic colors used:
Hair: E18, 15, 13
Bench: E39, 37, 35
Skin: E000, 00, 51, 11, R20
Outfit/Flowers In Hair: G02, 00, RV23, 13, 000

Another Baseball Card

Hi, again my friends,
How are you all doing today?  I made another card today.  My hubby's birthday is coming up this Thursday and I had to make him a baseball card.  As a Boston Red Sox fan as he is it was a no brainier.
I just found a new baseball stamp from Tuesday Morning and I had to get it.

Here is my card:

Here is a 5x5 card base from Recollection 110lb white cardstock.  I distress the edges of all the paper with Vintage Photo from Tim Holtz/Ranger.  I seem to always do this because that's what baseballs actually look like all dirty. LOL!  I used some stamps from Hampton Art Clear Stamps called Baseball.  How appropriate is that?  LOL!!  I used Stampin Up Ink called Night of Navy and Real Red.  I'm not sure if these colors have been retired but I have all the previous colors from way back.  They have changed their colors since the last time I bought from them.  I used pattern paper from Little Yellow Bicycle called Vintage Summer.  It had the blue and red that I wanted.  Then lastly added some red and blue sequins to add a little bling without the bulk from my stash.

I hope you all like my card.  I hope to create more for you all soon.
Have a great day.  Thanks everyone for stopping by today.

Ribbon Rose Card

Hi Everyone,
You know when you haven't been posting for awhile and you post to post. LOL!!
Well, today is one of those days.  I have been mojo-less for sometime and I came a across a channel on Youtube that inspired me to make these roses.  The channel is called Docrafts.  Check them out!

Here is the card I using these roses.  This could be an early xmas card because of the colors.

I used the scraps of the remaining ribbon and then added my roses.  I think it turned out really pretty.
What do you all think?

I am also trying to improve my picture taking.  Please let me know what you all think of it.

Thanks everyone for stopping by today.

A Flip Flop Birthday

Happy Sunday, My Friends,
Today has been busy, but I had a chance to create a card for family.
They live near the water and she loves the beach so I just got a new die and embossing folder that I had to use for her card.

Check it out:

It's an A2 card size base.  I layered cardstock and vellum to the base.  I embossed them both with my new Spellbinder that has shells on it.  Then I cut out these flipflops from a Quickuts die - flip-flops.  I punched out flowers from my Stampin Up punch.  Added some letter stickers, glitter glue, and pearls.

That's it.  Another simple card.
I hope you all like it.
Thanks for stopping by today.

Cards with some Good friends!!

Hi Everyone,
I had the chance to visit with Yvette (DailyScrapper) and Yvonne (Scrapbliss) yesterday.
We chatted, snacked, and did a little bit of crafting. LOL!
You know what we all do when we get together.  Hehe!!
We had a blast as usual.  We need to do this more often Ladies!! :D

Well, here is my two cards I made while I was there.

Here are two A2 size cards.  Very simple and I added some sequins to add some bling without the bulk.  I truly love how these cards turned out.  I will be using sequins more and more on my cards.
The paper I used Studio G paper I got from Walmart.  I used dies from my collection.  I used a sentiment from Whimsical Designs set called Everyday Sentiments.  I'm not sure if they are available.
The happy birthday is from a Studio G stamp I got at Michaels.
Lastly, sequins is from the Dollar Tree and Joanns.

Thanks everyone for stopping by today.
Please come back.  I hope to have a DIY Flip It card to share.

SMILE, today is your day}

Happy Friday!
Today, I'm here to share a simple birthday card.
I haven't had much mojo lately and it's been frustrating. I have been shopping instead.
I can't seem to get my craft on. LOL!!  It always happens to me.

Here is my card:

I used my new dies from MFT called Well Worn Greetings.  This is another 5x5 card.  I just layered black card stock and pattern paper (Recollection paper pack).  Added some ribbon from my stash.  Layered the papers cut with my dies.  Popped up the oval with the Sentiment from TPC Studios called Sentiments.  I have been wanting to use some sequins to my cards and instead of buttons I thought the sequins would go well and it's flatter than buttons.

I really like how simple it turn out and I hope you like it too.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great Friday and wonderful weekend.
I will be visiting some friends this week and hope to spark up some mojo with them.
Wish me luck.  hehe!!

Back from Vacation!

Hi my crafty friends,
I'm back from vacation with family.  It wasn't a relaxing one but an assisting and helping out vacation.
Both sides of our families are getting old so it's hard to enjoy when others are not well.
We knew what we were getting into and the kids just wanted to spend time with grandparents and cousins most of all.

Anyway, I'm here with a card I made for my Mother-in-law.  I didn't have any crafting stuff there so I had to wait till we got home this weekend.

Here it is:

I used some of Tatiana's Gorgeous fabric flowers she made.  Thanks Tatiana!
Visit her page on Facebook called Created By Tatiana.
If you are interested in her flowers click on the above.  Thanks.

Products I used:
Flowers:  From Tatiana
Pattern Paper:  Crate Paper "Pretty Party"
Cardstock:  Recollections 110lb White Cardstock
Dies:  Spellbinders Floral Ovals
Punches: Martha Stewart Butterflies and leaf Punches
Bling/Pearls:  Michaels bling and pearls
Sentiment: Fiskars Cling "Birthday Cheer"

This is a 5x5 size card.  I layered pattern paper, flowers, leaves, banners (I cut myself).  Punched/die cut die and punches with cardstock and pattern paper.  Added some bling and pearls.  Stamped sentiment with Stamin Up "Apricot Appeal".  It's a retired stamp pad.  I also decorated the inside with just some pattern paper.

That's it.  What do you all think?  I just love how the flowers add to my card.

Thanks again, Tatiana for the Gorgeous Flowers.  I can't wait to use the others.

CCC #15 - You are Paws-atively Adorable

Hi my crafty friends,

Wow, it's been one of those weeks.  Well, last week was so busy for me I couldn't do much crafting.  I squeezed some in but not as much as I would have liked.

Hope you all are doing well and keeping cool.  We really didn't have much of a spring here on the East Coast so now we are in the dog days of summer.

Today, I wanted to share another card for Creative Color Challenge's blog.   This weeks colors are Navy Blue, Red and White plus Banners.

Immediately I thought 4th of July but I thought not. LOL!!

Panel Divider Birthday Cards

Hi Friends,
Now that summer is here and school has ended.  My kids and I have been keeping busy.  I have been teaching them how to ride their bikes without training wheels.
I know it's about time for my daughter since she is now 9 years old but she learned so quickly.
Now as for my son, he is only 6, will take some time but he is almost there.
How old were you when you learned to ride your bike with no training wheels?

Today, I needed to make some birthday cards for my niece and my hubby's niece so it just happens I was watching a video on Youtube. I found a card that I haven't seen before or had seen it but forgotten about it.

Here is the video.
Here name is France Martin.
She is a Stampin Up Demonstrator that I follow.

I loved this card so much I created two cards from it.

Here it is:

This one is for my Hubby's niece.

This one is for my niece.

What the papers look familiar?  Yes, you are correct.  I just used these papers from my previous project with the teachers gifts.  I wanted to use them up.  Nah, they were still out and so I used them. LOL!!

These are little cards but they are so different and super cute.

I used the paper from Recollections.  I punched out butterflies with my Martha Stewart punches.  The buttons are from my new Marvy button punch, I got from my Tuesday Morning.  I stamped my sentiment witth Archival Ink from Ranger.  Oh for the bottom I used my EK Success punch.  I don't know the name of it.  Sorry.   The top end are punched out my Martha Stewart Punches as well.  Lastly, I used some black twine from my stash and added glitter glue to the butterflies.

I hope you all enjoy my cards for today.

Have a great Summer and stay cool.

Altered Clipboards for Teachers

Hi Everyone,
As the school year comes to a close and summer is here.  I find that altering clipboards are the thing to do for my kids teachers.  I have been doing them for 3 years now and I really enjoy altering them.

Here are a couple of them:

I purchase my clipboards at local Dollar Tree store.  I used some recollections pattern paper called Toile and Cream and Polka Dots.  I used my Aleene's Matte Decoupage.  I also added a tear drop die from Spellbinders to add the teachers initials.  I used chipboard Kraft and white polka dots and Decoupage them on too.  I hope my son's teachers like it.  I have seen his Kindergarten teacher use theirs.  So, I know they are useful.

I can't believe school is over and my kids will be going to 4th and 2nd grades next year.  Time sure flies.

Thanks everyone for stopping by today.   Have a great day.

Creative Color Challenge #13

Hi Everyone,
I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend and especially Sunday/Father's Day.
We had an extremely relaxing weekend even through it was busy with Taekwondo Belt Ceremony on Saturday.  After that, we found sometime to enjoy some music at a Blues Festival.   We enjoyed some funnel cake, Mexican and Mediterranean food and cool refreshing drinks.
Win Win!!  It was exactly what my hubby wanted to do.

As far as my Dad, I do miss him a lot.  They are now living in California and it's hard for us to visit as often as we would like.  We do call them and sometimes skype.
LOVE you DAD!!

Today I'm here with another Creative Color Challenge #13 for you all.
Archana wanted to try something different for her team this week.  She asked us to come up with a color pallet and challenge.  We all happily agreed.
This week Claudia had a great color pallet and challenge for us.

Here is Claudia's color pallet for us:
Vanilla, Mint Green and White

We also had to add a butterflies.

Our sponsor this week is Lacysunshine.

I chose the digi called lupita:
 Simply Adorable!
Thank you Lacy Sunshine.  I had a hard time choosing. They are all so cute.

Now here is my card:

I trying my very best to add flowers to my cards.  I'm not very good at but as do it more I will get it sooner or later.

The base is a 5x5 size card.  I'm not sure how I'm going to mail it out but its bigger than that with the butterflies and circle extending out.  I used pattern paper from Crate Paper called " Oh Darling".  I also use the same paper for the butterflies.  I cut out the butterflies with my new Tim Holtz on the edge die called "Butterflight".  I have seen other ladies use this die this way so I had to try it out on this card.  I then added some white crochet and ribbon trim on the top, below the butterflies.  I colored my image with my copics (if you want to know the colors let me know by commenting down below).  I cut her out with my new Diemond Dies Nesting Circles die set.  I love this set as it has 20 dies total and they perfect for layering and matting.  Now for my flower arrangement.  I used some crochet doiles from Nica (Simplyshimmeryscraps).  I cut out some mint green swirls from Cheery Lynn dies called Fanciful Flourish mini.  I cut them up and tucked them here and there.  I added some white, pink, and cream flowers that I got from my friend Divine (itsalldivine).  Then I added some white ribbon rolled flowers from Michaels.  I distress the edges with vintage photo distress ink.  Lastly, I add some pearl trim for the antenna for the butterflies.

I truly enjoy making this card and I hope you all like as well.  Stop on by Creative Color Challenge's Blog to enter in on the fun.  Plus check out the other design team members creations too.  They are all amazing.

Have a great Tuesday and the rest of your week.

Father's Day Cards 2014

Hi friends,
Today, I'm here to share my 2014 Father's Day Cards.
It's just around the corner and this year cards are not dimensional.  It is clean and simple.  Not even one pop dot to add dimension.  I wanted to be flat for a change.

I'm also entering both for a challenge on Youtube.
Carol from OneHappyCraftyChick is having a Clean and Simple Card Challenge on her Channel.  I thought these cards would go well with the theme.  Please check her out.

Here it is:

I love the gears and the paper I used  And the distress sure adds a lot to this card.  Don't you think?
This is an A2 size card (4 - 1/4 x 5 - 1/2 card).  I used pattern paper from DCWV - The Timeless Type.  I cut the gears out of blk and kraft card stock.  I used the Spellbinders Cogs and Donna Salazar Sprinkly Sprockets.  Love that time.  I added some distress ink Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain to the pattern paper, sentiments, and also the gears.  I used stamps from TPC Studio and Studio G.  Punched out the circles with my Creative Memories circle punch that I have had for years.  An oldie but goodie, right?

I just love the simplicity of the card.

Thanks Everyone for stopping by today.  I hope you all had a great Monday and perfect start to your week.

U Rock Birthday Card!!

Hi Everyone,
Happy Memorial Day!
Today, I'm here to share a card I just created for my Great Nephew!
He turns 6 years old.

As some  of you know I always struggle with masculine/boy cards.  This time I didn't struggle as much and to me it's pretty cool!

Here it is:

I absolutely love this card.  It's so boyish, doesn't it?

I used the paper from 7gypies called Off the Wall.  This is a 5x5 card base.  I colored a Greeting Farm image from the "Later Sk834" set with my copics.  I paper piece his clothing with the pattern paper and kraft cardstock.  I then added some square brads from my stash.  I stamped a "U Rock" sentiment from my dollar stamps. I cut the sentiment out of my Labels 1 Spellbinders Nestibilities die.  I used a paper clip from my stash to add a crystal heart charm.  Even though I have never met my nephew I do {heart} him a bunch.

Inside I added more of the pattern paper and also a strip of black chipboard.  I stamped a dollar stamp "Happy Birthday".  I also stamped the Greeting Farm image with no coloring.  I have seen people do this and I had to do it too. I really like how that turned out.

Thanks everyone for stopping by today.  I hope I hear from you all on what you think of it.

Have a great holiday and I will be back soon with another card.

Please stop by Creative Color Challenge Blog.  There is still time to enter your cards.  Last Day is Monday, June 2nd.  Come on over!!

Gorjuss Girl Card

Hi my crafty friends,
Yesterday, I created an easel card for no reason.  I sort of created two gorjuss girls at the same time and I didn't want the other girl to go to waste. LOL

So, I created another color.  I don't know who I will give this to yet.
 Here she is:

I love these stamps.  I'm going to start making more of them.

I used an A2 top fold card.  I made an easel card for this one.  I added more of that 7gypies Trouseau papers.  I love that pad.  Added a paper doily.  I added lace from my girl Divine.  I also added some flat back pearls.  Then I added some silk roses from Michaels and a strand of pink pearls from my girl Divine.  Thanks so much Divine.  Lastly, added some rosette trim from Divine with some flat back pearls.  Love it.  Cut out a spellbinders ticket die to add my sentiment and viola!!  Done!

Love it.

What do you all think?  I added a Gorjuss girl and colored her with my copics.  Pop dotted her up.

I love this card.

Thanks guys for stopping by today.  Please let me know what you think or what I can do better.  I love comments.

Thanks,

I hope she likes it.

Creative Color Challenge #11

Hi Everyone,
I'm back with another design team card for Creative Color Challenge's blog.  I can't believe how fast summer is approaching and school will be ending.  So, for this challenge I created a card for my daughter's teacher for the end of school year.

This week we had to use the colors from the picture below:

And we had to include a stickpin.   I had to bust out my beads and stickpins to make some.

I use an image called "Occupation Bear Teacher" from our wonderful sponsor:
Bugaboostamps

Here is my card I created for this week's challenge:

Isn't he sweet?  I just love him. I colored him with my copics.  Its a 5x5 size card.  The paper I used are from WE R Memory Keepers - On The Record.  This paper went with the image and the color challenge perfectly.  I punched out a notebook edge to one of the papers with my Fiskars punch.  I cut 1-1/2 stripes of the pattern paper to make the rosette.  I punched out a banner with my new tiny punches from Fiskars.  Stamped "best" with my Studio G clear stamps.  Added a satin rosette in the center of the paper rosette from Michaels.  Stamped "teacher" with my Imaginisce "Best Teacher" Stamp.  I got that stamp a long time ago at Micheals.  Made a stick pin with beads and pin from my stash.

That's it.  I hope you all enjoy my card and please stop by Creative Color Challenge blog to join in on the fun.

Also stop by the blog to check out the other design team members creations.  I'm in an incredible group.

Thanks everyone for stopping by today.  Please come back again for another challenge DT card.

Hugs,
