December Birthday Card

Hi Crafty Friends,

Wow, I can't believe the Christmas festivities are over.  I am glad though.  Whew, it was a bit stressful.  The kids made out like bandits.  They usually do.   I hope you all had a great day with family and friends this season.

As this year (2014) is coming to a close, I have one last card to share before 2015.  My hubby's niece has a birthday after Christmas and I always make a card for her and add another gift card for her.

Here is what I created.

I finally used one of my Gorjuss Girl stamps called Toadstools.  I haven't used that stamp since I bought her.  I paper pieced her outfit, shoes and hat.  I used pattern paper from an old My Minds Eye 6x6 stack called Everyday Flair.  Then I used my copics to color her hair and skin, which I need more practice.  I haven't been colored images in awhile.  I used my circle dies from Diamond Dies.  I love this set because there are some many sizes to chose from.  I embossed the white circle with my Happy Birthday folder.  Another thing I haven't used in a long time. hehe!!

This year has gone so fast that I feel I haven't really did much crafting.  So next year will be a lot different.  Next year, I feel there will be a lot more changes for me.  I have a lot of goals to achieve as well.  This will be last post for 2014.

See you all in 2015 with more creations.

JOY 2014

Hi my crafty friends,
I thought I would share my Christmas cards with you all.  I can't believe it's almost Christmas already.  Are you done shopping?  I'm not - not even close.
We me being sick I haven't had much time or the well to fight the crowds.  I did manage to get my card done for Archana's blog and also my Christmas cards this year.
I so wish I had my own room to create in.  I hope to get one real soon.

Anyway, here is my card for 2014.

I used 110 lb cardstock white from Michaels for my A2 size base.  I used red and vellum paper from my stash.  I embossed the vellum with my snowflake embossing folder from Darice.  I bought a bunch of those star tags from Target.  Cut out joy from my cardstock with my new Lawn Fawn JOY die.  Lastly, I added some sequins to the embossing snowflakes.  Viola!!

I love it.  It was so easy to make and I love that die cut.

I want to wish everyone a Happy and Merry Christmas and Safe and Prosperous New Year.

Next year I hope to create more like I do every year.  :D

Big Hugs,

CCC #26

Hi Everyone,
I'm here today to share a card I made for Creative Color Challenge
I have been under the weather and I didn't know if I would get a moment to make something for this challenge.  And I did.  Whew!

This week we had to use the colors Vintage Green, Deep Red and Winter White
We also had to use Glitter.

Here is our inspiration photo.

Here is our wonderful sponsor this week! Here is the link.
I chose Ornament Galore on their site (No. K655)

And here is my card for this week.

This was a fun card to create.  I love Christmas and this card put me into the mood.  I used a 6x6 red cardstock base size card.  I also used pattern paper from Authentic Paper.  Colored my image with my copics and added some glitter to the ornaments.  I also added some glitter the pine branches that I cut with my Diemond Dies.  Lastly, I used some red sequins, white flowers, and ribbon from my stash.

Love it and I hope you all do too.

Have a great day to you all.  Please stop by Creative Color Challenge blog to see my fellow team members creations for inspiration.

Hi Everyone,
I'm at it again with another challenge at Creative Color's Blog.  I can't explain how challenging it is for me each time I create a card for Archana's blog and I love it.
I absolutely love the images we are given.  They are always so much fum to color and creative with.

This week we are to use this picture for inspiration:
Holiday Green, Holiday Red and Golden plus Embossing

Here is our wonderful sponsor:  Robyn's Fetish

I used "Putting up the Tree" image.

My card creation:

Its a 5-1/2 x 5-1/2 card.  Bigger size than I'm used to but I love it.  I used the pattern paper from Crate Paper - Bundled Up.  I used the Label 1 Spellbinders die.  I colored the image with my copics. (If you want a list of colors, just let me know).  I used my new die from Tim Holtz called Holiday Words; Script.  I added some sequins and ribbon from my stash.  I added some snow tex and glitter to the tree as my embossing element.

I hope you all like my first Holiday card this year.

Hi Everyone,
I wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!  This year I'm so thankful for my family and friends like every year.  If it wasn't for them I wouldn't be able to do what I do.
They keep me going!

Today, I wanted to share my Thanksgiving card with you all.  I always make a card for my family and friends ever since my daughter was born and I'm still going strong.  Sometimes a little bit late but always handmade.

Here it is:
This year is a bit simple but it says it all.

I hope they like it.

This is an A2 size card for easy mailing.  I used pattern paper from Authentic "Thankful" Collection.  I used Bazzil Cardstock to mat.  I used some burlap trim I got at Michaels.  I then cut out a pumpkin die from Spellbinders.  I embossed the pumpkin with a Darice embossing folder.  I punched out leaves with my Ek Success punch.  Added twine and button from my stash.  I used an old stamp from Michaels for the sentiment.  Inked the edges with Walnut Stain Distress Ink.

Have a safe and festive holiday everyone!

Big Hugs,

Jewelry Making

Hi Guys,
I'm here today to share what I prepared for last Friday at my Daughter's girl scout troop.
If you follow me on Instagram and/or Facebook you already saw.

Here is a picture:

I found this idea on Pinterest.  I <3 and="" beads.="" beads="" bling="" but="" buy="" case.="" depot="" did="" dimensional="" don="" ender="" extra="" floral="" from="" had="" home="" i="" in="" just="" letter="" magic="" mod="" most="" nbsp="" of="" p="" pinterest="" podge.="" some="" t="" the="" to="" washers="" wire="" you="">

My daughter had chosen another way of decorating the washers (I don't have a picture of it) which was painting different color nail polish on the washer.  Some girls did that and added some beads and bling to them with the magic.  It was pretty amazing what these girls came up with.  It was alot of work but tons of fun including me.

I hope you all are having a great hump day!  Life doesn't slow down in my house.

Trick or Treat??

Happy Halloween, Everyone!
Today, I have more of treat than a trick.  I got this idea from Laura TheRobnlaura on Youtube.  She had shown how she made these packaging for her treats and I used your idea.
Thanks Laura!

Here are my treats for my kids classmates.

I have already posted this on my instagram and facebook.  So you all probably have seen this.

I used paper from my AcMoore that I got for cheap.  It's from Best Creation Inc.  Pretty good quality paper.  I used my 2" scallop punch and 1 - 1/2 circle punch for the their labels.  Quick and easy.

Hope you all like my treat for Halloween.  Have a safe time with your kiddos and parties.

What else is new?  Right!  LOL!

Here is my card:

What do you think?  My hubby gave me a thumbs up.  I thought he wouldn't.  Silly me!

This is a A2 size card from 110 lb Black cardstock from Recollections. I layered a craft pattern paper that I got from Tuesday Morning along with the green and orange paper with polka dots.  I use a new stamp that I got from Joanns as my sentiment.  I used my Diemond Dies Enormous Nesting Circles.  I also decorate the inside with more circles and pattern paper and stamp Happy Halloween from Inkadinkado set called Creepy Crawly.  Added some ribbon, twine and buttons from my stash.

I got the layout idea from Pinterest.
This card is from Coutney Lane Designs Blog

CCC #22 - Soak Your Troubles Away

Hi Everyone,
Oh great, it's going to be 80 degrees today.  Not Fall weather at all.  My kids are gearing up for Halloween, how about you?  I need to get cracking with cards and treats.  Eeek!!
Today, I'm here with another Color Challenge for you all.  This week we were to use 3 Colors from the spools in the below picture.

We also had to add Laces as well.

Here is our wonderful Sponsor:  Doodle Pantry

I chose their Vintage Tub:

Here is my card for this week's challenge.  What do you think?

I love how it turned out.  I used several types of laces from my friend Divine.  Yes, I'm still using the wonderful things she sent me.  I'm trying to use them up.  Thanks D...:D

This card is a 5 x 5 card base.  I used the white 110 lb Cardstock from Michaels.  I covered the front of the card with paper from Studio G.  It had the blues I wanted.  I then layered the laces and a gold trim to finish the layers.  I then printed the image and sentiment.  I colored the tub with my copics.  (please let me know if you want the list of colors).  I then added some glitter glue to the legs and water spout but you can't see it from this photo.   I then layered pattern paper with the sentiment.  Lastly, I add some blue/green pearls to the bubbles from the tub.

My card is complete.

I hope Archana and my team likes my card this week.  This was fun.

Please visit us at Creative Color Challenge Blog to enter your creations.  Please stop by the teams blogs as well to see their creations as well.   I have them listed on the right side of my blog.

CCC #19 - Back To School

Happy Tuesday, Everyone!
This week's challenge was a blast to do.  Perfect timing too.  School has officially started, well it has been two - three weeks now that my kids are in school but so far so good.  Thank goodness.  BUT, homework, homework and more homework.  Sheesh!!  I feel like I'm in school again.  LOL!

Here is this week's challenge:
Use any three colors PLUS use polka dot paper

Our Wonderful Sponsor this week:  Robyn's Fetish

I chose the digi image:  Backpack

Here is my card for this week's Challenge:

I really love how it turned out.  I didn't go overboard this time.  I planned to paper piece the backpack but I thought I would attempted to color it.  It turned out pretty good.  I try to make it look like denim.  What do you think?

This is a 5x5 size base card.  I used the Recollections White 110 lb cardstock. I layered red and white polka dot pattern paper from American Crafts; Dots & Stripes 6x6 paper.  I then fussy cut the Lockers from paper from Little Yellow Bicycle called "Makin the GRADE", that I got from Marilyn G's giveaway package.  I also added some of the note paper too from that paper pack.  I distress with Vintage Photo distress ink to all the edges.  I colored the digi image with my copics. I stamped "Back To School" with my Studio G Letter stamps and Archival Ink.  I punched tiny holes in the notebook paper to make it really look like paper ripped out of notebook.   Lastly, I added some small sequins, glitter glue to the apple and banana and popped dot the digi image.

I really enjoyed making this card.  It turned out too cute.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Please stop by Creative Color Challenge blog to enter your cards for a chance to win great prizes.  Also please check out my fellow design team members creations as well.

Have a great day and week!

CCC #18 - Hello

Hi Guys,
I'm back with another DT Card for Creative Color Challenge.   This week the colors are Yellow, Orange and white.  Add Twine.

Here is our inspiration:

Our sponsor this week is Rick St. Dennis.  Here is his Zibbet store if you are interested in his creations.

I chose French Clown 2013 Digi Stamp.

Here is my card:

This time the size of the card is an A2 card.  I used white 110 lbs. cardstock paper from Recollection at Michaels.   I layered pattern paper from American Craft called Hip Hip Hooray pad from Target.
I colored the image with my copics.  Left the black and white parts of his outfit alone with a little bit of C1 and C2.  I cut out pattern and kraft paper with the Lawn Fawn Scripty Hello. I added some natural twine and Prima Flowers.  I added some glitter glue on the image and on the flowers.  I punch out a doily border from Martha Stewart.  I also decorated the inside with Kraft paper, yellow pattern paper and white punched border.

This is definitely a different card for me.  I do love it.  I hope you all like it.

Black and White Card

Happy Wednesday, Everyone!
This month I have a ton of birthdays to make cards for.  And I will be making another one soon.
Today, I made a black and white card for my dear friend of mine.
I have known her ever since I moved from Hawaii in 1997.
She is my dearest friend and I treasure her friendship.

Her birthday is this Saturday and I had to make her a card to celebrate her day.

Here is my card for her.  I just love this image I got from DigiStamp Boutique.
There are 5 other digi stamps that go with this one for an Awesome price.
Please check them out.

I used another 5x5 size card base.  Layered with white 110 lbs. cardstock from Recollections.  The pattern paper is from Ki Paper Pad (Hampton At) called Modern Elegance.  I think I got this pad from Walmart.  I added a paper doily.  I used a Stampin Up die called Deco Labels Framelits.  I then use some lace and roses from the package I got from Divine (yep, I'm still using stuff she sent me a year ago).  I used a gray satin ribbon from my stash for the bow.  Pearl swirls from Want 2 Scrap.  I don't think you can see but I also used Wink of Stella - silver and clear on the image hair, dress, shoes and on the die cut as well.  Lastly I colored the image with my copics.  ,

I hope she like this card I made for her.  The image is spot on image of her. LOL!!

Thanks everyone for stopping by today.  Please let me know what you all think.

Have a Fabulous Day!!

CCC #17 - Just Because

Hi Guys,
Every year summer comes and goes so fast that I'm always amazed.  This year is no different.  My kids are getting prepared for school, they are doing extremely well in swimming and Mommy will finally get a break.
The most exciting thing for me is that I hope to craft more.

Today, I'm here to share my card for Color Creative Challenge biweekly #17.
This week's color challenge is soft green, shabby pink, and creamy yellow
and add pearls.

Here is the inspiration photo:

Here is a wonderful sponsor:  Lacy Sunshine

I chose this image from their site.  Thank you for the image.

Now here is my card:

For this week's challenge, I made another 5x5 card.  I colored the image with my copics (I will have the list of copics down below for you). I added pearls to the image (flowers in her hair).  I used the Recollection 110 lb. white cardstock for the base.  Layered pattern paper from Garden Party by Pebbles.  I also layered a die cut from Sizzix called Ornate Plate.  I actually cut apart the die cut to tuck behind the pattern paper.  I also added a doily behind my image from my stash.  I added some Prima Flowers (Sugar Blooms) and Want 2 Scrap pearl swirl.  In addition, I added some soft green pearls from my friend Carole.  Stamped sentiment from my Studio G stamps in Pretty in Pink from Stampin Up.

Copic colors used:
Hair: E18, 15, 13
Bench: E39, 37, 35

Another Baseball Card

Hi, again my friends,
How are you all doing today?  I made another card today.  My hubby's birthday is coming up this Thursday and I had to make him a baseball card.  As a Boston Red Sox fan as he is it was a no brainier.
I just found a new baseball stamp from Tuesday Morning and I had to get it.

Here is my card:

Here is a 5x5 card base from Recollection 110lb white cardstock.  I distress the edges of all the paper with Vintage Photo from Tim Holtz/Ranger.  I seem to always do this because that's what baseballs actually look like all dirty. LOL!  I used some stamps from Hampton Art Clear Stamps called Baseball.  How appropriate is that?  LOL!!  I used Stampin Up Ink called Night of Navy and Real Red.  I'm not sure if these colors have been retired but I have all the previous colors from way back.  They have changed their colors since the last time I bought from them.  I used pattern paper from Little Yellow Bicycle called Vintage Summer.  It had the blue and red that I wanted.  Then lastly added some red and blue sequins to add a little bling without the bulk from my stash.

I hope you all like my card.  I hope to create more for you all soon.
Have a great day.  Thanks everyone for stopping by today.
