Steel Rule Die Storage

Hello Everyone,
Happy Wednesday...  I hope you all are having a great day.  I thought I would share a storage solution that I think will work for now.

I got this idea from Allyson from 1966Allyson on Youtube. These are photo books from Walmart. They are 5x8 size books.  I also got the magnetic sheets from Walmart as well.  I cut them down about an inch to fit the sleeve.  I like this solution so far but I do have a border a die that's about 9 inches long and it sticks out.  I will be careful with that book with that die but overall this is great so far.

I also cover the design with some Recollection cardstock paper I haven't used so it was a perfect opportunity to use it.  I then used my Dymo Letratag Label Maker to label the dies.

I may change this as I get more dies and more usage out of them.

Thanks everyone for stopping by today.

Take care!

4th Birthday Card

Hi Everyone,
I hope you all are having a Wonderful Memorial Day or a Crafty Monday.
I wanted to share I card I made for my Nephew.  It's this coming Wednesday and I'm late yet again. I can never remember his birthday.  I'm such an awful Aunt.  Well, he is turning the Big 4.  I have been told he is actually turning 40 for being so smart. LOL!!

Here is a really quick card I made with just pattern paper.

It's a really flat card, Great for mailing.  This card will be traveling far all the way to Hawaii.  So, i wanted to create a fun and flat card.  The PO and I don't aways agree on postage.  I used the patten paper from The Celebration Stack from DCWV and that's it.  No real embellies just cut out cards, banners and pennants.  Love this stack a lot. I have used it for my daugther's invites and thank you cards and I have a ton more to use.

Thanks everyone for stopping by today.

Quick Bday Card

Hi Everyone, I thought I would share a super quick card I made for Another Birthday Party my kids were invited to.  I only had an hour to do make this card so it was super quick.

I used some K&Company paper from "Young Girl Flowers".  I believe  it's a Tim Coffey design.  Its pretty old paper I have had in my stash for some time.  I also used a Studio G stamps from Michaels.  I used a premade card from AcMoore.  Buttons and glitter glue from my stash.

Viola, card is born! hehe!!

Anyway, I want to wish everyone a happy Sunday and hope to be back soon with another project.

Black & White Copic Challenge!

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to share a card I made for Jo's (Paperdrama) and Rina's (Scrapstress) Copic Challenge on youtube just to see if I could do it.  Since I have never done this before.  I wanted to practice more with my slowly growing Copic marker collection.  So, I gave it my first try.  I really like how it turned out.  It was certainly a challenge for me.  hehe!!

Here is my Card:

I used the "Puddles of Love" Gorjuss Girl Stamps for my image since I don't own any of the Greeting Farm stamps.  I really love this image.  I used the following copics C1, C2, C3, C4, C5, C7, and C9.

I then used Recollection papers from Michaels.  Lace and Flatback Pearls from my stash.

I know I love it.  There are mistakes on the coloring (in her boots)... LOL!!

Anyway, thank you so much for stopping by today.

I hope you enjoyed my card.

Pink Birthday Card

Hi Everyone,

I'm back with a Pink but Simple Card for yet another Birthday Party.  It seems we have one every Saturday this Month.  We have gone to Ice Skating Rink, now a Miniature Golf and next party will be at a local Gymnastic facility.

Well, it's good now that it seems the Weather is finally settling out with warmth. :-)

Here is the card:

Like I said it's quite simple but for a little girl it's just right.  My daughter said she loves pink and I found some paper I got in a rak awhile back.  I thought it would work out perfectly.  I don't know what paper collection this is from.

I added some cherry blossoms flowers that I had received from friends and again my Martha Stewart leaf punch.  Love that punch.  Added some Pink satin ribbon and tied it with my bow easy.  Punched out a scallop circle with my SU punches.  Popped dotted it with the bling 7 that I got from Michaels.

I hope you all like my 5x5 card.  My daugther told me what she wanted on the card.  I think she did good.

Thanks for stopping by today.  I hope you all enjoy your Mother's Day or celebrating Mother's Day with your Mom's tomorrow.

Hugs,

My Own Personalize Stamp

OMG, My sister, Terri knows me so well.  She had this made for me.  It's so ironic that she did this because I have been want to do one for some time I just haven't had a chance.

Thank you so very Much, Sis!!  She has supported me in this card making, scrapbooking, and paper crafting endeavor for some time.  She has sent me presents that would be called a "RAK" but it's really not ramdom at all.  She is my Sis and I LOVE her.

Thanks again...

Gorjuss Birthday Card for My Mom

Hi everyone!
I thought I would share another Gorjuss Girl Birthday Card with you all.  This one is for my Mom's Birthday which is on Mother's Day.  I have sent her 2 cards for both for like forever!  I can't seem to just give her one card.  So, this card is for her and I hope she likes it.

This was a card that I had to send to her.  It's a little me (mini me, LOL).  I used the Vintage Marketplace papers from Bazzill.  Love that collection.  It's so pretty.  I added some lace and trims from my stash.  I cut a rose trim from strand from a giveaway or swap.  I can't remember anymore.  Punched out some leaves from my Martha Stewart Punch.  I edged the paper with Worn Lipstick from Tim Holtz Distress Ink.  Lastly, I added a button to tie in the green from her jacket and paper.

I hope you all like it.

I had a ton of making this card for my Mom.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great week.

A 7th Butterfly Birthday

Hi Everyone,

I thought I would share a card made for one of my daugther's classmates.  This month in May we are going to a lot of birthdays that my kids are invite to.  So, I will be making several cards just for them.

This card I busted out my SEI Chocolate papers.  It's an old collection but one of my favs.  Love the pinks and browns in this collection and the butterflies are just too cute and perfect for the little girl that's receiving it.

I busted out my bow easy template and made a double bow.  It's too cute.  I also used the MS Monarch butterfly punch to go with the papers.  I stamped "Happy Birthday" from my My Sentiments Exactly Birthday set.  It has lots of different fonts which I love.  I then used a Crystal Sticker Monogram number 7 from Michaels.  I punched out a scallop circle from some paper from my stash.

We will be going to Michaels here in VA for the party.  How appropriate and I can't wait to shop while we are there for the party. :)

Thanks so much for stopping by and taking a peek.

Have a great Friday and a Wonderful weekend to you all.

Hugs,

Maybe Mother's Day Card

Hi Everyone,
I wanted to share a card I'm trying out today.  I'm not sure if this will be my 2012 Mother's Day Card for my Mom and Mother-in-law but I wanted to share with you all anyway.  .

Check it out:

I card lifted the idea from Colleen from 47CMC on Youtube.  She did a similar card with two embossing folders.  Well, the exact same ones.  :)  I loved the look so I had to try it on my card.

I used the Victoria and Swiss Dot Cuttlebug embossing folders.  I embossed with Detail White embossing powder from Stampendous for the Flowers with the Heartfelt Creations Posy Flower stamp set on Vellum.  I cut them out and layered them to make a pretty flower.  Added the Martha Stewart leaf punch. I also added a yellow button and some Hemp Cord.  Then, I embossed the word "MOM" from one of my Sentiment Exactly alphabet sets and cut them out.  I'm not sure the name of stamp set. Lastly, I added a white seam bow and a bling to the vellum flower.

I'm not sure if this is the one or not.  We'll see.  What do you all thing?

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great Tuesday everyone.

Take care,

Friday
