Altered Coffin Box

Hello Everyone, Happy Friday!!  I thought I would share another project with you all since I have already mailed to my partner for a swap I'm in.  I had joined a Halloween TP Mini Album swap over at Myscraproom.ning.com.  It is Hosted by Yvonne also known as Scrapbliss.   I know you don't see the mini and only this coffin.  It's because I didn't take any pictures of it. LOL!!  I will upload the video on it soon to show you the mini.  So, stay tuned.

I used a coffin box from Michaels.  I painted it with the Folk Art Metallic Sequin Black inside and out.  I added some black lace from my stash and purple velvet ribbon from Joanns.  I then added some cross bones stickers to the seam.  On top of the box, I popped dotted a journal tag (that looks like a frame) from Recollections, added a big sparkly spider and another cross bones I got at Target.  That's it. I hope my partner likes this box and the mini I made for her.

Thanks everyone for stopping by.  Have a Great day!!

Take care, Friday

Ooh Friday your coffin came out so nice. It doesn't look black though. It look like grey stone...kind of the a tombstone at the cemetery. Very spooky. Great job. I can't wait to see your mini. My toilet paper mini of the kids is my highest viewed mini to date. I think it's at 38,000 views now. I can't believe it! Happy Friday...you've inspired me to make something Halloweenish now.

Have a great weekend...Regina

Well, I can't say it's "pretty" because it's a spooky coffin, right?! I can't the spider is "gorgeous" because spiders are icky! I can't say I love the glittery skull and crossbones because they're frightening! So I'm just not sure what I'm going to say about this post! lol :o)
(Did you get my birthday message on your youtube channel? In case you didn't...Happy Birthday again one day late! :o))
