Hang Loose Luka!!

Ok Everyone!
It's snowing here in VA.  Cold Cold Frigid.
I want to tell you I was in the mood to make another tropical card today.
I have been cutting out images from my Brother ScanNCut and I had to start creating.
Here is another card:

I have two birthdays this month that I'm already late for but better late than never, right?  hehe!!  Well that's what I always say. lol!!  This time I'm using Luka from Sweet Nothings.  He is so cute.  I had to use him this month.

I used pretty much the same paper from my last post along with the stamp, and embellies.  Check it out on my last post for more info.

Thanks everyone for stopping by today.  I hope you are keeping warm where you are.  Or if you are already in a warm climate... You are SO lucky!!  :D

Have a Great Tuesday!!

Tropical Birthday Card

Hello my crafty friends,
Today is very cold and I'm thinking of warm weather would be fantastic right now.
So, my sister's birthday is today.  I know I'm late again.  I don't know why that is always the case with me.  She lives in Hawaii for right now.  Soon she too will be moving to the Mainland to be near my Mom and Dad.

Here is her card I have made for her:
As you can see I had to use Lina's Sophie image from Sweet Nothings.  I colored her with my copics.  (I will have the breakdown listed below). The paper I used is an old stack I got a long time ago when I visited California and meet Gina (Scrappinology).  It's called Citronella from KandCo.  It's bright colors and reminds of Hawaii.  I used a wood embellishment from Recollections.  I added burlap trim, twine, natural rickrack, buttons from my stash.  The sentiment is a dollar stamp from Michaels.  I punched it out with my EK Success punch.  I also used some Crochet flower and Butterfly from Tatiana (Created by Tatiana on Facebook).  Love her creations.
Inside, I used a stamp that my sister gave me a long time ago.  It's a plumeria stamp.  Love it.  Added some the paper on the bottom along with some rickrack and button to finish it off.

The copic colors I used are:
Skin:  E000, E00, E21, E31, and E51
Hair:   E33, E35, E37
Cheek:  R20
Outfit, Bow and Ball:  R32, R37, R35, YR21, YR24, Y38 (I found blending the YR and Y colors togethers made an awesome combo).

Thanks everyone for stopping by today,
I hope you all like my card.

Please if you have questions on my cards please comment below.

Thanks,

I {heart} Crochet Embellies - Do you?

Hi My friends,
Today is a lovely day to share some projects with gorgeous embellies.  I have been asked to showcase some crochet creations on my projects.  I have made several using these and I had to share.

Tatiana from Created By Tatiana
gave me a few of her creations to use.
Let me show you:

Here is an altered bottle using her pink doily and cream flower.

Here is another one, altering some clothes pins by adding her gorgeous leaves and flowers.

I had to make Valentine's Card with her crochert Heart as a focal.

Last but not least, here is a 4 x 3 card using her little green crochet dress.
It's so darling!

I have a video up too, if you want to see them better.  I do show all the other flowers, doilies, and hearts she sent me.  Thank you so much Tatiana for sending me your precious creations.  I hope you like what I have created.  I hope to use the other embellies you sent me soon.

Thanks everyone for stopping by today.  Please check Tatiana on Facebook to see what she is creating and order some of her creations to add to your projects.   She is also going to have an Awesome Giveaway for new followers to  her Facebook page (Created by Tatiana).  Please mention me on your post that you came from my blog/Youtube/Facebook page.  Thanks so much!!

First card of the Year!

Hi my friends,
Today is a rainy and overcast kind of day here in Virgnia.  At least it's not 7 degrees outside like Tuesday Weather was... brrr.
So, it was the perfect day to work on some invites for my daughter's 9th birthday party.  It's in two weeks so I had to get moving on these.

WHAT, 9th Birthday Party!!
I can't believe that my first born will be 9 years old.  Craziness.
So, this year she wanted to do a spa party.  The only thing that I could find around here was a pedicure party for her and her friends.  It could of been a manicure but she goes to a private school that does not allow nail polish on their nails.  Plus, most of her friends go to a private school too.  It's a pedicure party!

Here is her invite:

It's a simple and sparkly!
I found pink and black glitter paper (Pink from Michaels and Black from Target).  I found a polish die from on-line.  It was a Ellison thin-lit die.  I can't remember where I bought it (probably on eBay).  It also has a lipstick shape too but I didn't need that for the invite.  I cut the polish with my Bigshot (my trusty friend).  Add a polka dot ribbon at the top and done!...  The polish took the most time to make.

Thanks, everyone for stopping by today.
I will back soon with a valentines project with some gorgeous crochet embellies!

Have a great Saturday!!
