Hi Everyone,
I wanted to share some gifts I just put together this week.
Every year I buy a little something for my kids teachers. Either an ornament, gift cards or just a simple Christmas cards from my kids.
This year I had a fabulous idea to give Xmas mugs and stuff them with Hot Chocolate mix, marshmallows, candy cane and a Starbucks gift card. I had mentioned this idea to another mother and she implied that it was a bad idea to give a teacher mugs these days. First, I was hurt to think that this was a terrible idea but as I thought about it she made perfect sense. A teacher that has been teaching awhile could have collected many many mugs throughout her career so I had to think of another vessel to put these goodies in.
I saw Robyn from Injoystampin on Youtube show this idea on her channel. I have also seen Jo from Paperdrama on Youtube also showed this idea as well. So, I thought it would be perfect to create.
Here it is:
These were so simple to make and I hope they enjoy them.
I ran out to 711 to snatch a few coffee sleeves to alter. I used more of my Authentic Festive 12x12 paper that I just love so much. Added some natural looking ric rac trim that I got from Joanns. I had a few more of those snowflake buttons and added a bling in the center. I found some gingerbread tags from target and viola done. In the packets I added Swiss Miss Hot Chocolate pack, packet of marshmallows, two Ghirardelli Peppermint Bark Squares (Mm new addiction). Yumm!
So, I know I haven't made a video in a long time but I have been creating here and there.
I just don't have time to make a video lately.
Hopefully, I will be back in motion in the new year.
Thanks everyone for stopping by today. Have a fabulous weekend.
Hugs,
♥♥ Friday ♥♥

Well, at first I was thinking that it really wasn't very nice of the other woman to put a damper on your idea! I mean...if you felt led to include a mug with the gift...who was she to suggest you shouldn't? However, if her comment led you to create these sweet little packages then it's a very good thing! lol You had to think creatively and it worked beautifully! They're going to love them! :o)
Oh Nancy... I thought you would feel that way but it's all good and I created something better. LOL!! Thanks so much for always commenting on my post. I so appreciate. You always make my day for your comments. I absolutely love reading them. Well, I actually look forward on them. :) thanks so much for being there for me. Much hugs... Have a great weekend.

I though the mug idea was awesome, I guess since I'm a mug collector myself but towards the end I guess you are right. she probably has a lot. LOL I still like the idea But your project is excellent. I love it. LOL
