2011 High School Graduation Card

Hi Everyone!  I hope you all enjoyed your Memorial Day celebrations.  I did!  We met up with some good friends for dinner but that's not all we did.  We also cooked out on the grill and ate some burgers and pasta salad for lunch.  YUMMMO!!

Today I wanted to share with you all a Graduation Card I made for my hubby's niece.  Their school colors are Orange and Black.  I had made a similar card last year but it was for his nephew.  So, I had made this one a little bit feminine with the doily border punch from SU...

Here are the supplies I used:
Paper:  Black, Orange, White Cardstock from DCWV
Punches/Die: SU Doily border punch, Spellbinders labels
Misc:  Half back pearls, copics (orange), sharpie pens, popup dots

Thanks for stopping by and I will have Tag to share tomorrow.

I just wanted to say that I made my envelope with the Martha Stewart Scoreboard.  It was so simple to do.  I used the same papers for the envelope as the card.

The supplies I used:
Papers:  Target Birthday Paper Pack, White, yellow and green Bazzil Cardstock
Glitter Glue:  Studio Clear Glitter Glue

Thanks everyone for stopping by and taking a peek.  Enjoy your weekend.

Happy Mail Today!!

Hi Everyone,  I hope everyone is having a wonderful Thursday!!  I wanted to share a fabulous package I received today from Anna.  I met Anna at myscraproom.ning.com.  We have since become good friends.  One day, she asked if anyone knew where to get some stick pins.  I told her I could send her some and I did.  In return she said she would send me some trims...  Since then, I had hosted a Mother's Day Jewelry Box swap over at myscraproom and it turned out that she was my partner in the swap.  How lucky I was.  Well, this package is a combination of the swap we did and the Mother's Day Jewelry Box Swap.   Here are some pictures for you all to see.  I will have a video up soon.

THANK YOU SO MUCH, ANNA!!  I love everything!

You can check Anna out at xosweetpunkox on Youtube. Thanks everyone for stopping by... Have a Fabulous Day!!

An Altered Bottle

Hi Ladies, I hope you are all having an awesome National Scrapbook Day!!  I wanted to share an altered bottle I made on Thursday but I wanted to wait until the person I made it for received it in the mail.  This was my first try at altering a bottle and I'm hooked.  Here are some pictures...

I couldn't find those bottles that Bona (Keeponscrappin) showed in one of her videos but I did find these bottles at a Michaels near me.  It's about 7 inches tall and about an 1-1/2 wide.  I used some lace that I used at a GM class last year...  Which went perfectly with the bottle.  I used some Recollection sprig that I got on sale. Some cream trim and some string pearls.  Then I added some bling to it as well.  I hope you all like it and I hope she likes it too.  I have done a video on it if you want more detail on my youtube channel above.

Thanks for stopping by... Have a Great Saturday!!

2011 Mother's Day Card

Hi Everyone, I thought I would share my 2011 Mother's Day Card I made for the mother's in my life.  I made an easel card and I just love it.  Take a peek.

This card is a regular 5-1/2 by 4-1/4 card.  You don't have to make it square... I used a Sizzx die called Flower and vines with stems.  I cut it out of blue and brown felt.  The leaves I used some lace I got from Gina (scrappinology) Thanks, Gina.  I used my MFT doily border die-namics.  I punched out a label from ek success punch.  I used the SU stamps for Cherish and Happy Mother's Day.  I used my Nestabilities Label Four.  This card is too cute.  I hope you all like it.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a peak.  I hope to share an altered bottle soon.

An Altered Hat

Hi Everyone,  I hope everyone had a Fabulous Weekend.  As for myself it was pretty Fab. hehe!!  I wanted to share something that I helped do this weekend.  My friend's daughter is going to a party soon and had asked me to help them by altering a Hat (just like those hats at the Kentucky Derby).  I said "Absolutely".  I had never done one but I was diffenitely eager to try it out.  So, I went over to her daughter's house this Saturday and this is what we came up with.  I hope you guys like... Enjoy...

The hat came with the big flower already on it so we just embellished it with feathers, these pearl beaded trigs and an adorable bird.  She may even add a little nest for the bird. I think it turned out Fantastic.  She will be in a Hat Contest at this party.  I hope she takes first prize!!

Thanks everyone for stopping by and taking a peak.  I will be posting a Mother's Day Card so come back soon.

Hugs,  Friday
