WW Challenge "Textiles"

Happy Wednesday, Everyone!!
I really hate being sick so, I'm glad I had finished this project in time for the challenge.

I'm here today with a project for Whimsical Designs weekly Challenge.
This week the challenge is to use Textiles.  Such as Ribbon, Lace, Twine or any other type of textiles to our projects.

This weeks Sponsor is Freckled Fawn.
They will be giving away a $20.00 Gift Certificate for the Winner.
Here is my take on this:

I altered a mason jar with lace, trims and such.  I also turned it into a pin cushion that I got the idea from Youtube.  Here is the Video that I cased the idea from.
I have been wanting to make one of these and I thought what perfect timing with this challenge.

I used lace, crochet lace, pleated lace trim, flatback pearl trim, and flowers from my stash.
I just bought the material for the pin cushion part from my local Joanns.  I love this.

I plan to either store my buttons in this or use a flame-less tea light inside.

Thanks everyone for stopping by and taking a peak.

I hope you all have a fantastic Wednesday and don't forget to check all the wonderful projects that my fellow  teammates have created over at Whimsical Designs.

You are all welcome to take part in the challenges as well.  There will be prizes for the lucky winners.
You don't want to miss out.

Big Hugs,

You altered jar is gorgeous! I love the lace trim, and the vintage colors. I have three button jars I need to alter so this was great inspiration and will get me motivated. I hope you are feeling better!
