An Easter Card

Hi everyone, I'm here today to share an Easter Card I'm trying out.  I'm not sure if this will be my Easter Cards for this year.  I like it but I'm not sure.

Here it is:
I layered a paper doily (I got from an Irish Pub, lol), lace and trim.  Used my Spellbinders die - Floral Doily Motifs.  Cut out circles from my Creative Memories Circles templates and punches.  Got the paper from Michaels.  It's from American Crafts - a la Carte (Love this paper when I saw it).  Stamped "Happy Easter" from a Studio G stamp set.  Added pearls to the die cut and on the banner.  That's it.

What do you all think?  Is it good enough to send out or is there something missing?  I'm on the fence.

Thanks guys for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you all are having a wonderful Wednesday.

Hugs, Friday

What an incredibly gorgeous doily! I don't think I've ever seen a paper doily that pretty!
Your card is beautiful and you could send them out like this with no problem at all. I would like you to try one thing for me though, and see if you like it better. Take some of the brown cardstock you used and put some of your border punches to use...do you have some? Or use some lace, or even a narrow strip of satin ribbon in the same shade. Just try a strip of brown down the left-hand side of the card. Probably just a narrow strip but you can fiddle with it and see what you like best. Does that make you feel differently about the card? Just an idea...but I really like what you've done! :o)

I know right, I get them from an Irish pub that we eat at. The kids get free ice cream with their meal and they use these doilies under their bowl. I snatch them everytime we go. lol!!

You know what I was thinking the same thing and I have some brown satin ribbon in my stash. Thanks a bunch!! Hugs!!
