Wedding Card

Hi Everyone, I have been on a card kick lately.  I had 4 birthdays to do and now a wedding card to make this month.  This card I went a little over board with the embellishments but I love it.  Please let me know what you think if I did or not.  Yay, I figured out how to do the watermark to my pictures.  Enjoy!!
Ok, I use the luxury paper from DCWV.  I used some vintage lace that I got from Linda (Scrapchica).  I used some trim from ACMoore.  I made the lollipop flower.  I also used some tulle that my friend Gina (scrappinology) gave me.  Used some pearls for the center.  I handmade my own leaves (got the idea from Gina scrappinology) with some shimmery paper from Recollections then I lightly inked the edges of the leaves with Certainly Celery from SU.   I used my handmade stick pins.  I made my itty bitty roses with the same papers.  I used some bling.  Then lastly, I embossed "congratulations" with silver detailed embossing powder from Ranger.  I hope everyone likes this card.  It's so pretty I don't want to give it away.

Thanks everyone for stopping by my blog.  I really appreciate it.

Birthday Cards for August

Hi Everone, I wanted to share some birthday cards I made for a friends and family.  They are simple and no copic coloring here. LOL!!  I don't have enough colors to do other images but that will change soon.  I hope you all enjoy my pics.
Thanks everyone for stopping by.  Please leave a comment.  I love reading them.  Can someone tell me how to add a watermark to my pictures?  I don't have photshop elements on my computer, is there another way I can do it without that program?  Please let me know.  Hugs, Friday

Practicing with Copics

Hi everyone, hope you week is going well.  Here are some images I just colored and I love it.  It's so much fun and I can't stop.  Well, just for a second. LOL!!  This little girl is so cute from Hero Arts.  This stamp set is from Sending Smiles (CL444). I used the techniques I learned from the class I went to. So, now I figure I need MORE markers. LOL!!  Oh boy, here I go.  My birthday is coming soon and I suspect I will be making an order real soon.  Thanks everyone for stopping by.  Let me know what you all think.  Take Care...  Enjoy the rest of the week.  Hugs, Friday

COPIC CREATIONS

OK, Everyone, please don't laugh at the following pictures.  Here are my very first copic coloring cards.  I love to color as a child and I still do with my daughter but I need a lot of practice with these markers.  LOL!!  I guess the blending part is a little difficult for me right now but these are cute none the less.  I only bought 7 markers for the class and that's all we used to do four cards which I thought was pretty amazing.  We used different techniques for each card.  They may seem very basic to some but they were pretty amazing to me.  I bought an extra marker (R20) which looks good for cheeks.  LOL!!  So, now I have a total of 8 markers in my collection.  I have a feeling that won't be all.  Thanks everyone for stopping by and enjoy the pictures.  If you have any questions please let me know.  Hugs, Friday

CRAZY FOR COPICS CLASS

Hello Everyone!!  I hope your weekend is going well...  I just want to let everyone know that I'm going to a copic class to learn how to use these popular markers.  I'm a type to try out product before I buy them (especially expensive ones) so a local stamp store near me is having a beginner class.  We will be making 4 cards uses these markers.  I'm really excited to take this class.  I have seen some amazing coloring from a lot of talented ladies on youtube.  I can't wait to try this out and I hope I get the bug too. LOL!!  I will post and upload a video and show the cards we create.  So stay tuned and wish me luck.  Thanks for stopping by.  Hugs, Friday

Altered Canvas

Hi everyone, I wanted to share an altered canvas I made for a friend.  Her name is Gina at Scrappinology from Youtube and from http://www.myscraproom.ning.com/. I had the pleasure of meeting her in July while my family and I were on vacation in California visiting family.  She altered me something and you can see it on my earlier posts.  I had no idea what to make her prior to our meeting until I saw Rina (Scrapstress) and Jo (Paperdrama) canvas' videos on youtube and I knew right then and there I wanted to make that for Gina.  Thank you ladies for the inspiration.  So, I used the papers from Que Sera Sera from Kand Co.  I know it's an old line of papers but its both our favorite.  So, I thought it would fit perfect for this project.  Here are some close up pictures of it and here is my video on Youtube.
Thanks everyone for stopping by.  Hugs, Friday
