Creative Color Challenge DT Card

Hi my crafty friends,

Finally, we are having spring weather here in Virginia/DC Metro Area.  I can't remember the last time I longed for warmer weather.  This weekend we truly enjoyed the outside by visiting our yearly tradition by going to see the Cherry Blossoms at the Tidal Basin in DC.  They are so gorgeous  and it never gets old.  I will share pictures soon.

Today, I wanted to share another Creative Color Challenge with you all.  This weeks challenge are the colors below and fussy cutting.

Our sponsor this week is from an artist name Rick

He let the Design Team pick images from his zibbet shop.
I picked a little girl with a heart balloon.

Here is my card:

She is so adorable.  I had trouble fussy cutting her outfit out.  I used my Scan and Cut her out.  So, this was a challenge.  I hadn't done this in a long time so I'm out of practice.  I colored her hair, skin and balloon with my copics.  I then paper pieced her clothing with paper from Crate Paper - Random.  I added some letter stickers for my sentiment.  And lastly, added some green bling from my stash.

Please stop by Creative Color Challenge blog and enter your cards to win great prizes from our Awesome Sponsors.

Thanks for stopping by today.

If you miss this challenge, please come back for another one on April 29th.

Have a great week!!

Gorjuss Graduation Card

Hi Everyone,
I'm here to share a card I made for my Hubby's Niece's Graduation.  As many of you already know how much I love these stamps and I found a way to use one on a graduation card.

Here it is:

Is she sweet?  I just love how it turned out.  I used one of the Gorjuss Girls Stamps called "New Heights".  I thought this would work for a Graduation card.  I added the cap and diploma from a Studio G Stamp my Hubby got from AcMoore and I stamped, colored and fussy cut then raise it by using dimensional to the image.  I couldn't have planned a better addition to this card.  I just love how it came together like it was meant to be.

I hope my Hubby's Niece enjoys her card. Thank you everyone for stopping by and take a peak to my card today.

Have a Great Friday and Weekend!!

Hugs,

Friday
