WW "A Little Sketchy"

Hello Friends,
The weather here is crazy and last week was even more crazy here in Boston and Texas.
What in the world is going on?
I have all the families in my thoughts and prayers.

Now, on a lighter note.  It's another project share for Whimsical Designs.
And this week we had to be "A Little Sketchy"... LOL!!

Here is the Sketch we used.

Here is my creation for this week's Challenge:

Here is a 5x5 card.  I used pink cardstock and pattern paper from my stash.  I used a Martha Stewart Deep Edge punch around the page called Triple Chain in red Bazzil Cardstock.  I used a sentiment from Whimsical Designs:  With Love set.  I added a lace/zipper flower that I handmade.  Wrapped a pink satin and sheer ribbon. Then added a ceramic heart that my friend Divine gave me in a RAK.  Thanks D!!
That's it.  I absolutely love it.

Our wonderful sponsor this week is Whimsy Stamps.
They are offering the lucky random winner 5 Digis of their choice.
Awesome!!

Thanks Whimsy!!

First Communion Invitations

Hello Friends,
Today I wanted to share something I have been working on this week.
They are invitations for my daugther's Holy Communion.
I needed to get these out soon before the big day for family to make plans to come and join us.

I have already bought her dress for this special occasion but it's getting hemmed.
This dress is like a little wedding dress.
I was like OMGoodness, I was looking into the future.  I had to close my eyes and breathe.

Here they all are:
I had to make 20 of them.  I made extras just in case we wanted to invite more.

Here is one by itself:

It's a sheet invite with a vellum overlay.  I added a white border on the top and bottom of the vellum. I used a Spellbinders die - Crosses two.  I added some glitter glue to the cross.  Lastly, I added a sheer and satin pink ribbon.

Thanks everyone for stopping by today.
Have a great Day!!

WW "Smell the Flowers"

Hi Friends,
It's that time again that I share a Challenge project for Whimsical Designs
This week's challenge is "Smell the Flowers"

This week our Sponsor is Saturated Canary.
They are offering to a random winner a choice of 2 digis.
Awesome!!

Here is my card:

I wasn't sure if I could make this image work with the challenge this week.  What do you all think?
Did I or didn't I?

This is a 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 card (A2 Size card)  I used the paper pack from Amercian Craft called "Dear Lizzy Neopolitan".  I used "Washi Girl" from Saturated Canary.  The let some of the team members choice a digi.  I colored her with my copics. I just love her and washi.  Don't you?
I know what you are all saying Washi and Flowers.  HUH? I know but I think I made it work.
I found some washi that a friend RAKed me.  I punched out the Saturated Canary's sentiment with my Stampin Up Tag punch.  I used Whimsical Designs "Oh Happy Day" sentiment stamp from Whimsical FUN - Vol 1.  I used colored cardstock, flowers and flat back pearl from my stash.  I also used my EK Success scallop border punch.

Thanks everyone for stopping by today.
I hope you all are having a great Wednesday so far and enjoy the rest of your week.

WW "Emboss it"

Hello friends,
I'm so happy that I'm able to update with my blog.  Believe me it was so scary that I couldn't update and show you my card for this weeks challenge.  I can and that's all that matters to me.  :-)

So, what day is it?  Yep, you're right it's Wednesday and it's time for a fabulous challenge from Whimsical Designs.  This week we were challenge to create something with embossing whether it is dry or heat.  I chose dry embossing.  I have a ton of embossing folders to use so I did.

We were also asked to use a digi image from

They are also our Sponsor this week.  Yippee!!  I love their images.
They are offering to a random winner three (3) digi images of their choice.
Awesome!!

Here is my creation of this week's challenge:
I chose the "Button Cupcake" from Limited Runs.  Isn't it cute as a button?  LOL!!  I had to say that.
I colored the image with my copics (if you want a list of colors just pm me).  I used papers that I was given by Yvonne (Scrapbliss) from We R Memory Keeps called "Buttons".  Thanks, Yvonne!! I thought it worked perfectly with this yummy cupcake.  Don't you think?

I cut the image out of one of my Spellbinders - Labels 3.  I used an embossing folder from Sizzix.  It's called Tim Holtz Texture Fades Patterns & Stitches.  I also used another Spellbinders die set called "Sewing Elements".  I used the sentiment from Whimsical Fun- Vol 1 stamp set.  I added some buttons, twines, lace and flower trims from my stash.

I'm trying really hard to use what I have.  I have enough stuff. lol!!

Thanks everyone for stopping by and taking a peak.
I hope you all like it.

Have a Great Wednesday and the rest of the week!
Please visit Whimsical Designs  for the rest of the team's creation this week.

WW "Shaped Cards"

Hi bloggy friends,
I'm here today share another awesome challenge from Whimsical Designs. I'm really love all these challenges at Stephanie's site.  I hope to enter in other challenges to really challenge myself more.

This week we were asked to make a shape card and I chose a scallop circle card.
Plus we also was asked to use some images from this week's

They are generously offering a set of four (4) digi stamps to the random winner.

Here is my card:

I made an scallop circle easel card for this week's challenge. I just love making these types of cards.  I used my handmade zipper flower.  It really matched the paper I used.  I colored the image with my copics.  I added some tiny punched butterflies with bling to the card.  I used Whimsical Designs sentiment stamp from the "Whimsical Fun - Vol 1".

I hope everyone likes my card this week.  It's always fun to create with Stephanie's stamps.  They are all so versatile. Please go check out all her stamps.

Have a great Wednesday!

Come back soon for more cards and creations.

Hugs,
