WW "Think Spring/Easter

Hi Everyone, Happy Wednesday!!

I'm here today to share a card I made for Whimsical Designs.
This week we had to Think Spring/Easter.
I'm so ready for Spring...I tell ya!!  This winter has been long and I'm tired of it.  Bring on the SUN!  We (I meant I) have been sick too many times this winter and I can't wait for the warmth of the SUN!!

This challenge we had to make sure it had Pink and Yellow.  Also, we were also asked to use some SVG/JPG files from Design on Cloud 9.

In which, they are our Wonderful Sponsor this week.
They are offering a $20 Dollar Gift Certificate to their site.

Unfortunately, I don't own a machine that will cut SVG files.  I know... I'm so behind the times. Call me old fashion.  But you know what, I wish I did after making this.  LOL!!
I printed out the Birdhouse and Birdhouse 2.  I also printed out the Lovebirds.
I then re-sized them on my computer, cut them out and then mounted them on different colored cardstock and fussy cut them out.
Whew... :-)

Here is my card:
This is so adorable.

I just love this card.  I can't wait for spring.  Oh, I already said that already.  I'm so over winter - can you tell!

I used some Kraft cardstock (from Michaels) as my base.  As I said above, I have printed, cut, mounted, and popped dotted the birdhouses, birds and couple clouds.  I used my Fiskars Small cloud punch with white cardstock.  Added some pastel color thin ribbon from my stash to the one birdhouse and at the top.  Stamped a sentiment from Whimsical Designs set called Whimsical Fun - Vol. 1
It's a simple but super cute card and I love it.

Thanks Design for Cloud 9 for the images!!
Thanks everyone for stopping by today.  Have a fabulous day!

Hugs,

Holy scissors, Friday! I'll bet you had a blast cutting out those little flowers, huh? LOL! They actually look BETTER than the ones I cut on my Silhouette. Your sherbet-colored birdhouses and sweet little bluebirds along with the white clouds are so pretty on the kraft card stock.
