Mini Album Kit Swap for Jan

Hi Everyone,  I just wanted to share a video I uploaded on YouTube a couple of days ago.  I had received my mini album kit for January early.  My mini album kit swap partner was Arlene (Her blog is butterflykisseswithlove.blogspot.com).   She sent my kit early because she and her family will be out of town and she wouldn't be able to mail the first week of January.  I just love this kit.  It is so elegant and beautiful.  I can't wait to start on it.  It isn't your typical Valentines Day colors (pinks and reds) but I love it.  Please enjoy the video and thanks for stopping by!!  Hugs, Friday

P.S.:  I wish everyone a Safe and Happy New Years.
And I hope to do more projects than hauls and packages for the New Year....

Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow!!!!!!!!

Hi Everyone,  I hope everyone is keeping warm.  As you can see we had a little bit of snow!!! LOL !!!  We had 16+ inches of snow here on the east coast.  WOW!!!  We have not had this much snow in our area in a long time and we were due for a dump!!!  My kids just loved being in the snow.  As for myself, I rather be in doors with a nice hot cup of coffee, keeping warm.  I did go out the next day to make a snow with my kids.  I will have to post that tomorrow.  They had a blast playing and getting all wet.  Then they loved coming in doors for some hot chocolate.  So, I thought I would share this wintery storm update with everyone.  Please have a Safe and Merriest Christmas and Happy New Year.  Big Hugs, Friday

Christmas Festivities 2009

Hi everyone, I hope everyone is staying warm and cozy inside.  I know I am.  It is in th 30's here in Virginia.  Cooooold.  No snow yet.  Maybe this weekend.  I wanted to share a few pictures of my kids gingerbread house and my 2009 Christmas card to family and friend.

My kids decorated the gingerbread all by themselves.  Does it look YUMMY!!!!  I bought a kit for them to put together.  My wonderful husband helped with the constructing of the house and they decorated.  I think they did a fabulous job.

Next, is my christmas card I made this year.  It was loads of fun.  I used 8-1/2 x 11 white card stock.  Cut it in half for a standard A2 card.  Cut some red cardstock for the background and the backing to the tree and punched out the modern label from SU.  Then I embossed the white cardstock with my cuttlebug embossing folder (snowflakes).  I stamp the tree with garden green ink from SU.  Then used Snow-tex for the snow and put some dazzling diamonds over the snow before it dried.  I also rounded the two corners with my corner rounder.  I just love this card.  It's so pretty.  Thanks for visiting.  Enjoy the pics.  Friday

RAK From Marlene!!!!

Hi Everyone, I thought I would show you what I got in the mail yesterday.  It is from a Super Sweet lady and her name is Marlene.  She wanted to send me a little something to thank me for being the first person to comment on your YouTube Channel.  Well, I was pleasantly surprised when I got a huge box delivered to my door.  I wasn't expecting this at all.  I so appreciate her generousity.  Thanks you so much, Marlene.

You know I'm so surprise from everyone's kindness here in the Scrapbooking Community.  Words can't explain it all.  You all have inspired me to do things out of my norm and I appreciate that.  I was so caught up with all my albums and pictures that I never stopped to think about having fun.  And now I'm having a blast.  I hope to get my friends into this.  They would freak!!!!  Thanks everyone for your kindness and I feel so welcomed here.

Thanks so much for visiting,

Mini Album Kit Swap...

Hi, everyone. I'm participating in Bona's Mini Album Kit swap club.  What this club is all about is to put together a fabulous kit of your own stash and give to someone else.  My partner is Christina this month and we chatted on what papers or collection we wanted to work with.  She picked the vintage findings collection from Making Memories which worked great for me since I was like everyone else and that had ran to Michael's to snatch up all the good deals.  So, her kit will have a vintage feel to it.  She had gotten the paper from the collection after we discussed it but she didn't want to change it.  So, I'm including some papers of that line and some of my own vintage papers I have collected.  I hope Christina likes what I have put together for her.  Here is a sneak peek of what I have so far.  I will be mailing this on Thursdays.  This is so exciting.  Thank you, Bona for thinking of me to join.
