February Birthday Cards

Hi Guys,

I have been away for a bit because (1) I had no Mojo and (2) life has been extremely busy with me and my family.  I will be popping in and out, here and there for awhile until things cool off.  So don't be concern.  I wlll be back.

Today, I'm here to share two birthday cards for my Hubby's family.  I had to make some cards and found some mojo to create.  I had a blast creating these cards.  They were fun.  It always takes a deadline to fire some motivation in me.  hehe!!

Check them out.

This is a flip it card.  I used paper from American Craft and Crate Paper.

I hope you all like my recent creations.  I have been playing around with my new Prima dolls.  I want to try to color them with watercolor pencils.  I just bought some at my local AcMoore.  I do want the Prima water colors but that will have to wait.

Thanks everyone for stopping by.  Please let me know what you all think.

Have a fantastic Friday and weekend.

Happy Birthday 2015

Hello Everyone,

Today, I'm here to quickly share a masculine birthday card for my hubby's nephew.  To me, it's hard to make a card for a male.  He is much older and I don't think he will like a robot or cutsie image on the front like a kid.  So, I struggle every time.  It never fails but I always seem to pull it off.   I hope he likes it.

Here is my card:

Im trying to use my metal pieces I bought from Monica.  I used papers from 7gypsies - Off the Wall.  Love this paper.  I always go back to use these papers for masculine cards.  I also use some papers from DCWV - Timesless Stack and also from Colorbok - Rustic Earth Tones.   Inside of the card I layered another blue pattern paper and another layer for the DCWV paper.   The sentiment stamp is fom AcMoore red rubber stamp.

I hope you all enjoyed this simple masculine card I have made.  I hope to create more soon.

Thanks for stopping by today.

CCC #29 - I Love You

Hi everyone,

I'm in the mood for love.  February is and always the month of love for me and I guess for everyone else.  I had to use this image for this occasion.  Today, I'm here to share my card for Creative Color Challenge's blog.

Here is our inspiration picture:

Plus, we also had to use the designs in the photo.

Here is our wonderful sponsor:

They gave us the wonderful images you see on the Design Team cards.

Here is my card for this week's challenge:

This is an A2 size card base (4-1/4 x 5-1/2).  I used pattern paper from Studio G paper from Walmart.  I embossed light blue and pink with my embossing folders to show the designs on the cookies on my card.  I add a felt bow that I cut from a Magnolia Doohickey die called Bride Bow.  I then added some prima flowers.  I colored my image with my copics.  I then popped up some of the hearts with popped dots.  I added some glitter glue to the small hearts.  I stamped the Craft Smart Stamp from Michaels.  Lastly, added some bling/pearl swirl from my stash.

Thanks everyone for stopping by today.  I hope you enjoy my card this week.

Please stop by my Design Teams blogs and send them some love on their amazing creations.  Should you feel inspired please enter your card in to win some awesome prizes.  Please don't forget to add the inspirational photo to your post.  Thanks!

Have a Great Week!!
