My first mini album swap at the beach!!

Hi everyone!  I just wanted to share with you all my first mini album swap at the beach.  My partner for this month was Kelly.  She was so sweet to let me do whatever I wanted on her mini.  So I thought I would do (or try to do) a vintage valentine mini for her but I have heard that this is more Shabby Chic.  I was very flattered by that.  Thanks Marie!!
These two photos are my favorite pages in this mini.  I love the whole mini but these are the two pages I was most proud of.   So, enjoy them.
If you want to see the video on Youtube visit my channel.  Thanks for stopping by everyone!!  Hope everyone is having a fabulous week so far.  Hugs, Friday

My Version of the TH Flower

Hi everyone !!  I hope everyone is doing well this week.  I have been snowed in for the past week and I have been making stuff.  I have been working on a Valentine Mini for the TWS gals and I wanted to make the famous Tim Holtz' Flower.  Well, at least my version of it.  I think it came out really pretty.  What do you all think?  Please let me know!!

I used the Flower Layer Sizzix Die instead of the Flower #5 that Tim used.  I used pink and off white cardstock instead of Grudge Paper (I don't have any) I used a French Script background stamp over each flower.  I edge each flower with worn lipstick distress ink.  Then I used the Pearl Glimmer Mist over it all.  I just love how it turned out.

Thanks everyone for stopping by...  Enjoy!!  And Have a great Day!!

My Daughter's Valentine Cards

Hi Everyone, I hope everyone is doing well.  We are getting snow and expect to have another 18 inches by Sunday.  So,  my daughter and I deceided to make some Valentine Cards for her classmates and teachers to pass the time.  I think she did an awesome job on them.  I had bought these Valentine Card kits from Joann's for a $1.  The kit comes with paper, stickers and 6 cards and envelopes.  Sweet deal for an easy project for a Five year old.  So, check it out and tell me what you think.

She was so proud of herself.  I helped her with trimming the paper to fit the card and she used the strips for a decorative touch.  So, thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend.  Hugs, Friday

Hello Kitty Madness!!!

Hi everyone !!!  I just thought I would share my new creation with you all.  I have been making a ton of invitations (42 to be exact) for my daughter's 5th birthday this month.  I borrow my good friend's cricut machine.  I used the Hello Kitty Greetings cartridge.  It took forever to cut and adhere together.  I love it though and I hope you will too.  I wanted to emblish it more but i had no time to do it.  I wasn't really expecting to invite so many but before you know I had 32 kids to invite.  Yikes!!!!  I made 10 additional for family and friends.  Now, I need to get all the RSVPs by this Saturday to determine how many will be coming.  I'm afraid, deeply afraid. LOL!!!  Last year she had a total of 19 kids attend her birthday party.  I had tons of stress that year too.  I told myself I wouldn't do that again.  Oh, well, maybe next year? Yeah, Right!!!

Mini Album Kit Swap for Jan

Hi Everyone,  I just wanted to share a video I uploaded on YouTube a couple of days ago.  I had received my mini album kit for January early.  My mini album kit swap partner was Arlene (Her blog is butterflykisseswithlove.blogspot.com).   She sent my kit early because she and her family will be out of town and she wouldn't be able to mail the first week of January.  I just love this kit.  It is so elegant and beautiful.  I can't wait to start on it.  It isn't your typical Valentines Day colors (pinks and reds) but I love it.  Please enjoy the video and thanks for stopping by!!  Hugs, Friday

P.S.:  I wish everyone a Safe and Happy New Years.
And I hope to do more projects than hauls and packages for the New Year....

Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow!!!!!!!!

Hi Everyone,  I hope everyone is keeping warm.  As you can see we had a little bit of snow!!! LOL !!!  We had 16+ inches of snow here on the east coast.  WOW!!!  We have not had this much snow in our area in a long time and we were due for a dump!!!  My kids just loved being in the snow.  As for myself, I rather be in doors with a nice hot cup of coffee, keeping warm.  I did go out the next day to make a snow with my kids.  I will have to post that tomorrow.  They had a blast playing and getting all wet.  Then they loved coming in doors for some hot chocolate.  So, I thought I would share this wintery storm update with everyone.  Please have a Safe and Merriest Christmas and Happy New Year.  Big Hugs, Friday
