December Birthday Card 2015

Hi everyone!

I hope everyone had an enjoyable and festive holiday.  We sure did.  Gifts and family time galore.  I got a new stamp for Christmas and I absolutely love it.  It came in handy for a birthday card I had to make for my hubby's niece birthday.

I hope you all like...

It's from La La Land Crafts.  It's called Mixed Media Marci with Bear hat.  I thought this one was simply adorable.  I tend to like the mixed media dolls than the others.  They are simply to cute ... in my opinion.  I made a 5-1/2 x 5-1/2 card because of this stamp.  I also made a round shaker.  I love how it turned out.

Thanks everyone for stopping by today.

Please let me know what you think.

Christmas Card 2015

Hi all,

I'm so sorry for not posting as much lately.  I haven't been creative since Halloween.  I hope to be more creative in the new year 2016.  It's been a tragic year for my Hubby's family.  So, I haven't been in the crafty nor festive mood.  They will all be dearly missed so I founded it in myself to create a Christmas Card for family and friends this year.

I hope you all like it.

I saw a similar card on Pinterest.  The only thing it had a trio of trees.  I needed a different die to accomplish it so I settled for just one tree.  I really love how this turned out.

I really want to get back into coloring images again.  Please come back to see a birthday card I will make using a new La La Land Mixed Media Marci stamp.

Have a great week and a fabulous Holiday Season.

Happy Halloween 2015!!

Hi everyone, I wanted to come on and wish everyone a Spooky and Safe Halloween!  This week has been a trying time but we are trying to make the best of it.  My kids are so excited for Halloween.  My son will be Peter Quill from Guardians of the Galaxy and my daughter will be Kitty Cheshire from Ever After High.  I wanted them to be zombie kids but no Luck. hehe!!

I finally had some mojo for this year's Halloween cards.  I believe I used the same sentiment I did last year.  Oh well, I really like this stamp.

This is an A2 size card (4 1/4 x 5 1/2).  I used papers I got from Tuesday Morning last year.  Dies from a Spellbinders set.  I added new trim that I got from Michaels on sale of course.

Thanks everyone for stopping by.
I know I have been posting much lately.  I'm hoping this will start back my mojo.

Please comment and let me know what you think.

Simple Birthday Card

Hi Everyone,

Is everyone keeping cool?  This summer has been quit humid here in the East Coast.  We have been cooling off by going to the pool and eating frozen yogurt.  Yum!  I can't believe this summer is almost over and back to school for the kiddos.  I have mixed feelings about it.

Anyway, here is another Birthday card for the month of August.  I have 5 in total.  I hope to make two more to finish this month.

Here is a simple card I made for a dear friend:

This is an A2 size card (4-1/4 x 5-1/2) black 110lb cardstock from Michaels.  I used papers from Darice called Embellish by Dena.  The sentiments are from TPC Studios called Sentiments.  I bought that set from my AcMoore.  I used ribbon, flower and lace from my stash.  I need to get more of that dainty lace.  Love using it.

I hope you all like this card.  It was fun creating it.

Thanks everyone for stopping by.  I hope you come back soon.

Hubby's Birthday Card

Hi Everyone,
I'm here today share a birthday card I made for my Hubby this year.  I always struggle with masculine cards.  It never fails.

Here is my card:

I used different kinds of textures.  Wood and metal pieces just to add some interest.

I hope you all like it.  I need more practice with masculine cards.  I always feel that I'm missing something.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Have a good weekend and week.

21 Birthday Card

Yeah, I made a card.

Hi Everyone,
Today I wanted to share a card I made for my Hubby's Niece who is turning 21.  Wow, 21 is such a milestone in a person life.  She has grown up to a lovely young lady and I wish her all the best that life has to offer.  This card is a Pinterest inspired card.  I always go there to get inspire to make a card.

Here it is:

When I saw this on Pinterest, I knew I wanted to make it.  I used my embossing folders for the background.  Thickers for the number.  Punches (scallop circle) and Diemond Dies for the circle and lastly, MFT bow die.  Sequins from my stash.

I wish I was turning 21, um wait no not really.  Hehe!!

Here is my card for this week.  I will be back for another birthday card next week.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.

Fun Birthday Card

Hi Everyone,
Today I'm back with another Birthday Card.  Late again!  This one is for my nephew that just turned 21.  Wow, I really feel old.  He is the youngest on my side of the family.  I wish him well in what ever he does in life.

Here is his card.

I hope he likes it.  I hope I get me creativity back soon.  It's a real drag when I can't think of something clever for my family.  Oh well, it's in the mail.

A Strawberry Birthday

Hi Everyone,
I can't seem to get back to creating cards again.  This one today took me forever to complete.  I had the idea but no motivation to get everything out to create it.  I still have more cards to make and I hope they won't be late like this one.  So Bad!!

So here is my belated Birthday card:

I haven't done an easel card in a long time but I have to say it came out pretty cute.  I wanted the jar to be a shaker but it didn't turn out that way.  I used acetate instead of using my fuse.  It's ok though it still turned out.

Thanks everyone for stopping by today.  I hope to be back soon with another birthday card.

July Birthday Cards

Hi Everyone,

We are currently in Boston enjoying our vacation with family.  It was a long drive but always worth the trip. The kids truly enjoy their time with grandparents and cousins. I wanted to share some cards I created just before we left and on time for once. hehe!!  Here they are:

Card 1
This is DIY Side Step Card (A2 size).  I follow a tutorial on Youtube.  Love how it turned out.  I covered the front with pattern paper from American Craft - Cut & Paste by Amy Tangerine.  I cut out a Ice Pop from Old Sizzix Yellow Original Die colored cardstock.  I stamped out a Sisters Stamps image named Leilani and colored her with my Copics.  She is so sweet.  I also stamped out a sentiment from a Stampin Up Set called Teeny Tiny Wishes.  Added some bling from my stash.

Card 2
This card is a 5x5, 110 lb. White Recollection cardstock base.  I covered the card with pattern paper from my stash.  I fussy cut out the banners, cupcakes and bingo cards from the paper pad.

These cards are simple but FUN!  I hope you all like them.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have an Awesome and safe 4th tomorrow.

July 4th Cards

Hi Everyone,

Summer is here and I'm already stressed.  Packing to go to Boston, making July 4th cards and birthday cards, cleaning the house.  Uggg!!

Kids are out of school and they already had their first week of camp.  One went to Baking Camp (my daughter) and the other went to Lego Camp (my son).  They both had a blast and would do it again next year.  I had an extra week to get prepared but no I'm still swamped.

Today, I'm hear to share my July 4th cards with you all.  I'm trying to use what I have and not spending anything.  I only had to get solid cardstock.  Let me know what you all think.

This is an A2 size card base.  Layered with blue and red cardstock.  I embossed the red with a Cuttlebug embossing folder called Stars.  I used a stamp set from Cloud 9 called Stamped America. I then punched out my Fireworks with my 2" Scallop Circle Punch.   I also used a Studio G Stamp for the sentiment.  Added some sponging and sequins.  That's my card.

Quick and easy for my family and friends.

I hope you all like it.

Have a great week and 4th.

Hi Guys,

Well, today I'm back with Father's Day cards.  These were also inspired by Pinterest.  You gotta love that site for inspiration to get you going.  I seem to go there when I'm all out of ideas.

Here they are:

I hope everyone is doing great this week.  I can't believe it's the end of school year.  It goes so fast these days.  I wish everyone a great summer.  I hope to have more projects to share.

Graduation Cards 2015

What, 2 post in one week !!

Hi Everyone,
I'm back with two more cards to share.  Yeap, I know right.  It's crazy.  I get like this when I'm stress and I need to get things done in short amount of time.  I know I'm such a procrastinator.  But really, I haven't been motivated to make anything in a long time.  Everyone is so good that I get intimidated and I just freeze with creativity.  I know I'm crazy.  Anyway, here are two cards I made for my hubby's niece's that have graduated this year.  One from college and one from High School.

So here they are:

What do you all think?  Simple I know...  These were Pinterest inspired.

I'm trying not to buy stuff.  I have stuff to use.  It's so hard.  :(

Thanks everyone for stopping by today and checking out my post.  Have a great Friday and weekend.  Maybe I will be back next week with more cards and stuff.  hehe!!

Birthday Cards

Hi Everyone,
Do you remember me?  It's been so long and I sure miss posting. I really miss creating cards.   I haven't been creating much just here and there.  Nothing too exciting.  I did make a shaker card for my great nephew but haven't had the time post it.  So, today I have a couple cards I want to share.  Finally right?  I was inspired by Muriel aka Mscoperscoop on Youtube.  She had made a card with the Bramble Rose paper pad from MME.  I thought "Hey, I have that in my stash and I need to use it."

Here they are:

I hope you all like them.  I didn't like this paper pad at first but now I wish I got more pads.  :D

Thanks everyone for stopping by today.  I hope to be back with more cards to share.

Pua's Birthday Card 2015

Hi Everyone,

Long time no see.  I have to say I have no excuse for you all but I admit I have been busy with my kitchen.  I will leave at that.  LOL!

Today, I finally found some mojo to make a birthday card for my niece in California.   And because her middle name is Napualani and we nickname her "Pua".  I was lucky enough to have won this stamp from Sister Stamps.   I didn't win it on their blog but I did win on Linda's Youtube video.  I was so excited that I rushed out and bought "Kaleo" at Hanko Designs.   I buy my Sister Stamps from them all the time because they offer free shipping.  No lie!!

So, here is my card I created for my niece.

She is so adorable and looks so much like my niece at a young age.  She use to dance the hula just like me.  Yeap, I know how to dance the Hula.  I can't promise you a performance now but I know the basic steps.  hehe!!

I really miss Hawaii so much.  It will always be my home no matter where I live currently.

So let me wish you all a Happy Spring and much ALOHA from Virginia.

February Birthday Cards

Hi Guys,

I have been away for a bit because (1) I had no Mojo and (2) life has been extremely busy with me and my family.  I will be popping in and out, here and there for awhile until things cool off.  So don't be concern.  I wlll be back.

Today, I'm here to share two birthday cards for my Hubby's family.  I had to make some cards and found some mojo to create.  I had a blast creating these cards.  They were fun.  It always takes a deadline to fire some motivation in me.  hehe!!

Check them out.

This is a flip it card.  I used paper from American Craft and Crate Paper.

I hope you all like my recent creations.  I have been playing around with my new Prima dolls.  I want to try to color them with watercolor pencils.  I just bought some at my local AcMoore.  I do want the Prima water colors but that will have to wait.

Thanks everyone for stopping by.  Please let me know what you all think.

Have a fantastic Friday and weekend.

Happy Birthday 2015

Hello Everyone,

Today, I'm here to quickly share a masculine birthday card for my hubby's nephew.  To me, it's hard to make a card for a male.  He is much older and I don't think he will like a robot or cutsie image on the front like a kid.  So, I struggle every time.  It never fails but I always seem to pull it off.   I hope he likes it.

Here is my card:

Im trying to use my metal pieces I bought from Monica.  I used papers from 7gypsies - Off the Wall.  Love this paper.  I always go back to use these papers for masculine cards.  I also use some papers from DCWV - Timesless Stack and also from Colorbok - Rustic Earth Tones.   Inside of the card I layered another blue pattern paper and another layer for the DCWV paper.   The sentiment stamp is fom AcMoore red rubber stamp.

I hope you all enjoyed this simple masculine card I have made.  I hope to create more soon.

Thanks for stopping by today.
