A Fairy Belle/Gorjuss Card

Hi Everyone,
I hope everyone is having a Fabulous Wednesday.  We are getting ready for our trip to Boston.
I wanted to share a card that I made for my Hubby's Niece.  She is having a Birthday in July and since we will be traveling up there I just had to make her a card.

I used the Fairy Belle Prima paper pack I got at the convention.  I then used one of the
Gorguss Girl stamps that I thought was a fairy but it turned out it wasn't.  It's called Bumble Bee.  Just wait til you see it.  I think it would pass for a Fairy. I absolutely love coloring these images.  I can't get enough of them.

Here is the Card:

I hope you like it.  I think she is simply adorable. Dont you think?  I will be uploading a video on my Youtube Channel soon to get all the details.

Thank you everyone for stopping by today.  I really appreciate you all.
I hope you have a great day and the rest of your week.

Hugs,

Altered Paper Bags

Hi Everyone,
I hope you all are having a Fantastic Wednesday.  We are keeping cool inside today since it's going to be a scorcher here on the East Coast.  Later today the kids and I will be going to a Water Park for a bit.  Can't wait.

Today, I wanted to share some paper bags I altered for a ItripledogdareU Challenge on Youtube.  Thanks Lydia for the challenge.  I have been wanting to make these bags to take with me to the GASC - Great American Scrapbook Convention Chantilly, VA this Friday and Saturday for some special ladies I will be meeting up.  I will be ading some snacks and goodies to the bags.

Here they are:

I'm making a total of six bags (2 each of each style).  These are so easy and fun to make.  I hope they will like them.

I'm so geared up to go to the Convention his Friday and Saturday.  It's always a blast.  I just hope it's bigger than last year.  Anyway, thanks for taking a peak today.

Cards for a Friend

Hi Everyone,
I hope you all are having a Great Wednesday!  As for me it's a start of a long summer with my kids.  My Daughter's last day was yesterday for only a couple of hours. My son wasn't feeling all that well so it went off on a Great Start, Right?

Well, today I wanted to share some cards I made for a friend.  Her husband's Company helps cheer up Sick kids with wonderful handmade cards.  I offered to help her and her husband out with some cards I wanted to make. It made me dig into my stash and use some of my papers.  Yay!!

So, here they are:

I hope you all like them.  They were fun to make and I hope they make a child happy.

Thanks for stopping by today and checking it out.

Have a Great Week!!

Quick BDay Cards

Hi Everyone,
I had to make 2 birthday cards for my son's friends birthday that happened to be the same day.  So, the cards that I'm about to share are the quickest cards I made so far this year.

I hope you all like them.
These are 4x4 cards.  Different shades of blue cardstock, embossing folder, green ribbon and stamp.  I have never made 4x4 cards before and I like them.  I even made the envelopes to go with them too.

So, these are simple and really quick to make.  The party was pretty nice.  They had a Magician and it was really cute.  It was scorching hot outside but it was still hot inside with so many kids and adults.  Great party none-the-less, my son had a blast.

Thanks everyone for stopping by today. Have a great week.

Take care,

friday

StampersBest Father's Day Cards

Hey Everyone,
Are you having a Great Saturday?  I gotta say I'm having a very productive day today.  I can't complain.  Well, I hope you are anyway.  I wanted to share a card I made for the Dads in my life.  I have always struggled with Masculine cards until I bought some of those Amazing Stamps from StampersBest.

Here is my card for 2012:
I love this truck and it's so perfect for a Father's Day Card don't you think?... I do...

I used a paper pack from DCWV called "The Natural Stack".  I love all the browns in this pack.  I added some burlap ribbon I got from Walmart.  Cut out the Stampersbest stamp called "Rusty Truck" with my deckle scissors old school style. lol!!  Distress it with Tim Holtz Distress Ink Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain.  My go to Inks... Mounted it with some Bitter Sweet Bazzil Cardstock.  Stamped a sentiment from an old SU "Teeny Tiny Wishes" Set. I'm not sure if this set is retired or not.  Punched it out with my modern label punch from SU.  Added some screw brads I had from my stash.  And this my 2012 Father's Day Card and I absolutely love it.

Thanks everyone for stopping by and taking a peak today.

Have a great weekend!!  Don't forget TrueBlood is on Tomorrow Night at 9am on HBO if you are a fan like I am. LOL..

Thanks and Hugs!!

I added a white 4 inch doily.  I used a Studio G "Happy Birthday" Stamp and viola and quick and easy card.

I mailed it out today so I hope it gets there in time.

Another Graduation Card

Hi Everyone,
I wanted to share another graduation card with you all.  I have two graduations this year.  This one is for a boy (or should I say Man).  It's for my Nephew in California.  I remember when it was a little tike in diapers.  They sure grow up quick.  Now I have children and its already seems that way with them.
Treasure your kids everyone because before you know they are all grown.

Im trying to treasure every second with my kids.  Anyway, let me share my card.

It's a real simple green and white graduation card.  I used a Fiskars punch that I got for .97 at Joanns weeks ago.  I thought it went well.  I used some old KandCo paper I had in my stash that I thought it  went well too.  I used the same stamp I fussy cut for my other grad card but this time I just stamped with just green ink from SU.  Very Simple.

I hope everyone had a great weekend and a great start to a new week.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Gorjuss Graduation Card

Hi Everyone,
I'm here to share a card I made for my Hubby's Niece's Graduation.  As many of you already know how much I love these stamps and I found a way to use one on a graduation card.

Here it is:

Is she sweet?  I just love how it turned out.  I used one of the Gorjuss Girls Stamps called "New Heights".  I thought this would work for a Graduation card.  I added the cap and diploma from a Studio G Stamp my Hubby got from AcMoore and I stamped, colored and fussy cut then raise it by using dimensional to the image.  I couldn't have planned a better addition to this card.  I just love how it came together like it was meant to be.

I hope my Hubby's Niece enjoys her card. Thank you everyone for stopping by and take a peak to my card today.

Have a Great Friday and Weekend!!

Hugs,
