Hi everyone, I hope everyone is staying warm and cozy inside. I know I am. It is in th 30's here in Virginia. Cooooold. No snow yet. Maybe this weekend. I wanted to share a few pictures of my kids gingerbread house and my 2009 Christmas card to family and friend.
My kids decorated the gingerbread all by themselves. Does it look YUMMY!!!! I bought a kit for them to put together. My wonderful husband helped with the constructing of the house and they decorated. I think they did a fabulous job.
Next, is my christmas card I made this year. It was loads of fun. I used 8-1/2 x 11 white card stock. Cut it in half for a standard A2 card. Cut some red cardstock for the background and the backing to the tree and punched out the modern label from SU. Then I embossed the white cardstock with my cuttlebug embossing folder (snowflakes). I stamp the tree with garden green ink from SU. Then used Snow-tex for the snow and put some dazzling diamonds over the snow before it dried. I also rounded the two corners with my corner rounder. I just love this card. It's so pretty. Thanks for visiting. Enjoy the pics. Friday

Hi Friday!
Just love the gingerbread house your children made. I can tell they did it themselves, I love to see my nieces and nephews work on a project, they are always so proud of their efforts. It’s priceless.
God has blessed you with children, enjoy every day with them. I hope they get all they want for Christmas; after all it’s all about the little ones. MERRY CHRISTMAS!
