Another Gorjuss Girl Card for a Friend

Hi everyone,
Happy Friday!!  TGIF!!

Anyway, today I have another card for you to share.  It's another gorjuss girl image that I used to embellished this premade card.

This image is called "I gave you my heart".  I colored her with my copics.  I added some metal flowers with black pearls to the centers.  I got the flowers from Monica (Scrappin4myboys).  I added a punched border I had extra of to the one side.  I also used some grey paper from the 7gypies paper called "Trousseau" to mat the image.  I hope you like it.

Thanks everyone for stopping by today.

Have a great Friday and a wonderful weekend.

U Rock Birthday Card!!

Hi Everyone,
Happy Memorial Day!
Today, I'm here to share a card I just created for my Great Nephew!
He turns 6 years old.

As some  of you know I always struggle with masculine/boy cards.  This time I didn't struggle as much and to me it's pretty cool!

Here it is:

I absolutely love this card.  It's so boyish, doesn't it?

I used the paper from 7gypies called Off the Wall.  This is a 5x5 card base.  I colored a Greeting Farm image from the "Later Sk834" set with my copics.  I paper piece his clothing with the pattern paper and kraft cardstock.  I then added some square brads from my stash.  I stamped a "U Rock" sentiment from my dollar stamps. I cut the sentiment out of my Labels 1 Spellbinders Nestibilities die.  I used a paper clip from my stash to add a crystal heart charm.  Even though I have never met my nephew I do {heart} him a bunch.

Inside I added more of the pattern paper and also a strip of black chipboard.  I stamped a dollar stamp "Happy Birthday".  I also stamped the Greeting Farm image with no coloring.  I have seen people do this and I had to do it too. I really like how that turned out.

Thanks everyone for stopping by today.  I hope I hear from you all on what you think of it.

Have a great holiday and I will be back soon with another card.

Please stop by Creative Color Challenge Blog.  There is still time to enter your cards.  Last Day is Monday, June 2nd.  Come on over!!

Gorjuss Girl Card

Hi my crafty friends,
Yesterday, I created an easel card for no reason.  I sort of created two gorjuss girls at the same time and I didn't want the other girl to go to waste. LOL

So, I created another color.  I don't know who I will give this to yet.
 Here she is:

I love these stamps.  I'm going to start making more of them.

I used an A2 top fold card.  I made an easel card for this one.  I added more of that 7gypies Trouseau papers.  I love that pad.  Added a paper doily.  I added lace from my girl Divine.  I also added some flat back pearls.  Then I added some silk roses from Michaels and a strand of pink pearls from my girl Divine.  Thanks so much Divine.  Lastly, added some rosette trim from Divine with some flat back pearls.  Love it.  Cut out a spellbinders ticket die to add my sentiment and viola!!  Done!

Love it.

What do you all think?  I added a Gorjuss girl and colored her with my copics.  Pop dotted her up.

I love this card.

Thanks guys for stopping by today.  Please let me know what you think or what I can do better.  I love comments.

Thanks,

Birthday Card for a Friend

Hi my crafty friends,
Today is such a gorjuss day that I had to color a gorjuss girl stamp. LOL!!  I know silly right.
Anyway, one my friends is having a birthday soon and I just had to make her a card.

Here it is:

I used my gorjuss girl stamps and I absolutely love her.  Well, I love them all actually.  I need to use them more on my cards and I will.

This is a 5x5 size card.  I used the papers from 7gypies called Trousseau.  I just bought this pack from Tuesday Morning.  I colored her up with my copics. I added some metal pieces that I bought from Monica on Facebook.  I used Wink of stella glitter pens on her bows, dress, and socks.  Sorry, my camera doesn't pick it up well.  I punched out a tag from EK Success.  I added one of felt bow and bling from Joanns.  And that completes my card.

I hope she likes it.

Thanks everyone for stopping by.  Please let me know what you think.

Creative Color Challenge #11

Hi Everyone,
I'm back with another design team card for Creative Color Challenge's blog.  I can't believe how fast summer is approaching and school will be ending.  So, for this challenge I created a card for my daughter's teacher for the end of school year.

This week we had to use the colors from the picture below:

And we had to include a stickpin.   I had to bust out my beads and stickpins to make some.

I use an image called "Occupation Bear Teacher" from our wonderful sponsor:
Bugaboostamps

Here is my card I created for this week's challenge:

Isn't he sweet?  I just love him. I colored him with my copics.  Its a 5x5 size card.  The paper I used are from WE R Memory Keepers - On The Record.  This paper went with the image and the color challenge perfectly.  I punched out a notebook edge to one of the papers with my Fiskars punch.  I cut 1-1/2 stripes of the pattern paper to make the rosette.  I punched out a banner with my new tiny punches from Fiskars.  Stamped "best" with my Studio G clear stamps.  Added a satin rosette in the center of the paper rosette from Michaels.  Stamped "teacher" with my Imaginisce "Best Teacher" Stamp.  I got that stamp a long time ago at Micheals.  Made a stick pin with beads and pin from my stash.

That's it.  I hope you all enjoy my card and please stop by Creative Color Challenge blog to join in on the fun.

Also stop by the blog to check out the other design team members creations.  I'm in an incredible group.

Thanks everyone for stopping by today.  Please come back again for another challenge DT card.

Teacher Appreciation Gifts 2014

Hi Friends,
I'm back again with another project.  This time it's a really quick gift for my kids teacher.  I almost forgot to make something for them this year.  Like I do every year it's always a mad dash to finish and make something for them.

I found this on Pinterest and I had to try it.

Here it is:

This are acrylic mason jars with lids and straws.  I got them at my local AcMoore for 4.99 each.  It was a deal considering Target was 9.99 each.  I just added some ribbon.  I cut out some apples with my spellbinders nestibilities and printed out "You're an Uh-Mason Teacher" from my computer on cream cardstock from my stash.  I just love it.   Inside the mason jars I added some Easter grass and some candies from Target.

I think they will like it.  I thought it was pretty cute and clever.  What do you think?

Thanks everyone for stopping by today.
TGIF!!

Have a great day and enjoy your weekend.

Mother's Day Cards 2014

Hey My Crafty Friends,
I'm here today to share my Mother's Day Cards for this year.  I'm so late on making and mailing this out.  As you may know I have been obsessed with crocheting.  Well, I thought that Mothers and crocheting would go together nicely and this is what I came up with.

I absolutely love how this turned out.  What do you all think?

It's an A2 card.  Three layers of Bazzil cardstock.  The green cardstock has been dry embossed with a Cuttlebug folder called Modern Wallpaper.  I got it from Michaels yesterday.  I used a digi image from Doodle Pantry.  I added some flower pearl trim I got from my friend Divine (itsalldivine).  I stamped a dressform (I can't remember where I got it).  Added some pompom trim I got from Joanns and more of the flower pearl trim from my friend Divine.  Thanks so much Divine!
Viola, my Mother's Day Card for all the mothers in my life.

I hope you all like my card.  Please comment if you wish.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great week.

You're tea-rrific!

Hi my crafty friends,

It's that time again for another Creative Color Challenge #10.  Wow, this is my fourth design team card for Archana's Blog.  It's going so fast and I'm enjoying the challenges.

This week we had to use the following colors:
Hot Pink, Orange and Kraft

Then we had to use Rhinestones or Bling.

Here is the inspiration:

We were also able to get our hands on some Awesome images from our Terrific Sponsor:
They got some Awesome Digi Images and papers.  Please go check them out.

Now here is my card for this week's challenge:

What do you all think?  Cute right?

I think this will be my mom's birthday card.  Shhhhh!!  Her birthday is in May so I planned this pretty good.  LOL.  Yeah, right.

This is an A2 card size (4-1/4 by 5-1/2).  Since I will be mailing this card I had to make it a reasonable size.  I colored the Tea pot, cup and bag with my copics. (If you want to know the colors please leave a comment) I added some paper from American Craft called Color Crush.  I got that pad from my local Target.  I just out hot pink cardstock and sentiment with my spellbinders.  Added some Rhinestone bling from Want to Scrap.  (I finally busted into my stash for this). :D
Cute card!

Thanks everyone for stopping by today.  Please stop by Creative Color Challenge Blog and check out the challenge and also see all the team members incredible creations too.

Have a great week!

Take Care,

Crochet Frames

Hi Everyone,

Today, I wanted to share some crochet frames I have been creating.  I don't think I have shared them on my blog before.  I have shared them on Instagram and Facebook.   If you want to follow my on those media click on the words and it will take you to my pages directly.

So, I'm starting crochet again and some have already seen these.  I have crocheted flowers, hearts, and doilies before but I had to try these.

Check them out:

There are several wonderful Youtubers that have inspired me to makes these.  I used wire bangles from Party City store because I don't have a Hobby Lobby close enough for me to buy the rings they were using. So I had to improvise and this is what I created.  I will be sharing how I use these frames on a Mother's Day card.  So stay turn with that.

I just had share these with you. Thanks so much for stopping by today.  Please let me know what you think.

Come back tomorrow to see another card I created for Creative Color Challenge's blog.

Hugs,
